Because it is a funny movie? Accept it for what it is. Speaking of movies, I just saw Lucario and the mystery of Mew (got it for Christmas) today, and really enjoyed it overall, even though there are some annoying parts of much too large dosages of cutesyness for my liking. XD

But it had a lot of good moments.

Glad you agree Minerva. Lucario is the best in it, he's pretty cold at first, but after some of the events take place, he is more trusting and kinder than at first, when it was all "Why did he (Aaron) betray me!?". >.>
