you should get a pet sooner rather than later and then go and train it in the earlier bits like on the black pearl and that forest just north of it

I was aiming for a Tonberry but I went there to get better weaps (components) and got Shiva.
why didn't you just buy some new weapons off of gabs or someone, it's not like you have no money, and if you still want tonberry i have like 6 crown fragments you can have for free
