Wow, Disney has finally put out another good animated movie!

I loved both Tiana and the prince and the story was so cute. Though people say that the music is not memorable, I find myself humming "Almost There" and "Dig a Little Deeper" quite often.

And Tiana was amazing. I liked how Disney made her a hard working girl who wanted to follow her dreams.

And I loved that the rich girl wasn't a total snob and completely nasty! Finally we get a kind rich spoiled girl. I especially lover her at the end ;).

And I also liked that the comic relief was not just comic relief and actually did do many brave things.

I do wish that the villian was more developed though. He was creepy, but not as memorable as Ursala, Jafar, Maleficent, and many other Disney villians.

and
The wishing star finally gets a lover! lol Everytime I watch Pinichio I'm gonna think of the fairy as Evangelion

I haven't seen it. I hate how because it's new, I refuse to count her as 'one of the princeses'. It just isn't the same. I don't even count today's Jasmine as one of the princesses.

I think I saw the poster of this at the movies last time I went.

I adore Disney movies but I don't think I'll see it at the movies seeing as I will end up going by myself because no one else I know would go with me. >.<

But I can't wait to see it nonetheless!

This.

I don't know, for some reason I'm not really into it. After watching the trailer a few times, I actually got a little annoyed due to the dialogue and how it's too...modernized? I'm not sure what word I'm looking for, but the setting is not what I'm really looking for in a Disney 'princess' kind of movie. =/ Actually I haven't been a fan of Disney for a long while now (save PotC and the likes)...I didn't even like Finding Nemo, Cars, etc. I just get the vibe that it tries too hard to be a comedy film, although of course I could be wrong. The music doesn't appeal to me since it's too bouncy and upbeat in a jazz-like manner. Not a particular fan of jazz in general, although I like slow and relaxed jazz, but that's beside the point.

I do like that Disney are trying the 2D again, and this movie is the best choice to bring 2D back. The princess turning into a frog after the kiss also gives a new twist to the old classic fairytale and seems to be an entertaining story and plot. The characters seems to be very interesting and I heard they're a pretty cute couple, but overall I don't think I'll find this as memorable and as enjoyable as I did the other classic 'princess' movies (except for Sleeping Beauty - for some reason that didn't appeal to me either). Perhaps this is the adult-like in me speaking and me comparing it too much to the other classics that enjoyed as a kid. I may watch it with my daughter sometime, but right now I actually forgot it's out in theatres until I saw this thread and I just don't have the "I wanna go see this really bad!" mindset despite the many great reviews I've heard so far.

i havent seen it yet but i sure will,

disney movies always awsome =p.

but is this really a story or is it like all the other movies where you have a princes and a prince bla bla prince need to rescue the princess.

or is it worth watching?

if u can tell me if this is the same as all the others or if its a new kind of story ill go watch it and post u a new reply ;p.

I was slightly disappointed with this when I finally got to watch it.

There was far too much singing and the songs weren't that catchy unfortunately. Nothing like The Little Mermaid or Beauty and The Beast.

I love the the little twist at the end and I love the little glow bug and his star Evangeline. Little things here and there made the movie great but other things let it down at the same time.
