Aw poo. Well, we can just play that into Wylliam's 'brilliance' (like creator, like creation). Shouldn't be hard. Something like, "Hey Jake, are we almost to him?" At which point he realizes he is not in pursuit but getting pursued. Either way, I'm sure whatever happens will be a 'testament to his greatness' in his opinion.
