The "Man I Love Your Accent!!" Club

Hahaha I love it how Americans always love the English accent, and English always love the American accent :P

I have to say I do love the more posh-style English accent. Ever heard Prince William or Harry speak? Why does that turn me on?

Anyone think Borat's accent is kinda endearing? :wacky:

Russian accents are like phwoar. o_o And French... and Italian. :wacky: When I was in Italy around all those Italian men it was like being in a dream. XD Although with foreign speaking people I can never understand what they say when they speak English, and I find it so hard to take them seriously. D: A lot of English accents generally irritate me... >_> And so do Glaswegians and a lot of people from around here, but I think that's dialect more than anything. D:

It really makes me laff when I hear certain Aussie accents, especially when they speak very fast, all you can say is ".........whaaaaa?" I love 'em nonetheless. Especially Crocodile Dundee's accent O_O its, like, omega awsome.

Sign me up, doc.

Also, Geordie accents sound quite kewl. Maccam has a weird sound to it though, and just isn't cool at all.

I love the Geordi accent, it just sounds so....excitable :wacky:

My mums from up there but she no longer has the accent, my auntie lives up there still though and I just think it's mint it makes me giggle xD

Haha, Geordie accents are funny. XD I think I get kinda annoying because whenever this Geordie guy comes up here I always make him say 'conjunctivitus', it sounds sooo funny. XD

Mmmmmm Geordie.....Ant & Dec ftw just for the accents and nothing else :neomon:
I used to watch Question Of Sport just so I could hear Ally McCoist talk- his Scottish sent me into a daze (and he's not bad looking either):wacky:

Whoa Italian!!! It cracks me up when I hear the little Italian guys start talking, they always sound like they're on helium!! But the stockier Italian guys sound hawt ^^

I have to ask, what kind of accent is Al Pacino supposed to have on films like Scarface? It's so dreamy!!!!

Ooh I also love those Italian-American mafia accents, like Fat Tony in The Simpsons or the folks of Bugsy Malone, ack I could listen to them all day. XD

Ooooh how could I forget that :gasp: Al Pacino was dreamy in his youth, I just love him in Scarface. I SO would

I'm pretty sure I inspired this ^_^
Australian, mostly the women though. Lucy Lawless has a HOT Aussie accent.

OMG. I completely forgot about the Aussie accent :gasp:
Lucy's voice is just pure smex.
But Geordie accents, nooooooo :sad2:
Geordies just want te myek yee bubble (albeit I have a genuine reason for thinking that).

I was watching this program on Sky Sports a couple of minutes ago where
Jan Heylen was checking out the fans a couple of days before the GP and Belgian accents are like OMG especially when he starts to talk in English.

Aliadiere has an absolutely amazing accent :O
Its like a Southern (English) French accent, which sounds bloody brilliant.
Foreign people just generally seem to have a much better accent when speaking English rather than English people speaking it :wacky:

Also Portuguese-English and Swedish-Dutch accents are like WOW :gasp:

Portugese-English, Southern English-French and Swedish-Dutch....??

I must hear these strange crossovers myself!!!!! :gasp:

I do find it interesting when people seem to have a crossover accent. Although sometimes it is annoying- Gordon Brown, decide which you are, English or Scottish, it's pissing me off!!!!

Oh! Oh! Can I join? Is there some sort of requirement? :O

I don't think I have an accent, but my english is really stiff. I pronounce words too clearly. And I can't do slang. :wacky:

I lurve the British accent...
It's so..sexy. :wacky:

And the French! Oh the French! :inlove:

*drools over Gaspard Ulliel*

Welcome Iris! No requirements as such, we're just here to worship accents :P

Hahahaha whenever I think of French accents I either think of Thierry Henry and his "va va voom", or Pierre Dupont from the Tomb Raider games. Sooooooooo cheesy!!!!!

I have an unusual accent. I pronounce the "s" with a slightly sounded "th". I have speech problems sometimes, so I get a speech therapist come in to school every Wednesday to help me with the "s" sound.
I mastered many accents, I mostly use the Scottish kind, although I am not native to the Scott region. I compared my accent with others, and then I went on to see how accents sound like. I found out my accent compares to Cait Sith's Scottish-like accent, and I recommended I have a Scottish tongue and accent without knowing.
I know various kinds of accents. I will list them down.
1. Blonde Accent - Some accent used by blondes, not normally. Their usual greetings is "Cello."
2. British Accent - This accent I love the most, for it sounds very sexy and clear. As soon as I get sent to England for high school, I will finally be using the British accent to communicate clearly with other British people.
3. Southern Accent - Ths one I learned from Dolly Parton, that country singer I heard of that has seemed to have plastic surgery within her. This accent I use rarely, I use it in jokes that come from the South.
4. Chinese Accent - This accent I fairly like, for it complies within its native language fairly. I use it not to make fun of the accent and language of Chinese people, but to translate some Chinese symbols.
5. Indian Accent - My teacher is Indian, although she claims to have a British accent and was born in a "BREETEESH COLONEE." This accent I use to imitate only my teacher's punch line, but not other Indians.
6. Canadian Accent - This is the native accent of the Canadians, the Northern people. Their sentences ends with a usual "eh", though just to probably let out a breath for a long sentence. This accent I don't really use, just for purposes when I feel abnormal and start greeting people by poking them.
7. French Accent - My French teacher comes from Nova Scotia, though he is very gifted in the French accent and its language. I adopted this accent from him as well as the language while he taught me and my classmates everyday. I use it only in french class, to sound convnicing enough for my French teacher to give me a A- to an A+.
8. Yugoslavian Accent - This accent I use when I talk in my native language, Croatian. I talk with this accent and language with my family members and relatives, like my parents and my cousins.
9. Italian Accent - I talk this accent when I feel like I'm raiding a place in a Italian mafia with my friends. I go screaming around with a water gun in an Italian accent to convince them that a real Italian mafia is here. It's just so much fun with Italians. :neomon:
10. Arabian Accent - I'm not sure there is one, but I adopted this accent frm my two aunts. They are both Muslim, and they both have a normal Arabian accent and tongue. I use this accent to talk with them through the phone, for they are in the Middle East with my cousins.

These are all the accents I can recall from my tongue memory. I love accents, too, as well as the languages that complies to the matched one.

Am I the only one here who doesn't like the Irish accent? Meh, I was never a fan of the Irish accent.

Oh boy... British accents are hot. I melt when British men talk.

I love Italian accents as well. Yeah... >_> They're some cute Italian guys here, or so they say.

I love hearing New York accents! (Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens) I don't know why but it amuses me. Same with the New York Italian accent. Hey Tony, you got the kid and I got the money.

I don't see how Japanese accents are hot. Then again my Japanese friend is just strange...

I hate New Jersey and Boston accents! -__-
