This one's for you, Dan.
Fumito Ueda’s just confirmed a holiday 2011 release for The Last Guardian at Sony’s TGS presser. Ueda also confirmed during his time on stage the game will support 3D.
He’s also revealed at an event to press that the main human charachter in the game was originally a girl. This was decided against for two reasons in the end, however. One being that, with all the climbing in the game, it was thought it would be best a boy would fit the profile as a young boy would have a better grip then a young girl. The second being the girl would have ended up wearing a skirt, which you could probably see up with certain camera angles. Ueda in pervert shocker.
^Remember to hit that 360 button and rev it up to 720 HD!
