it's pretty good. i was a bit skeptical, since a sequel really doesn't seem to fit given the ending of the first one but i was really surprised by how well its turned out.

it follows pretty much the same formula as the first one did, right down to almost having the same script. everything has just been upscaled a bit from the first.
they wake up in bangkok, having lost stu's future brother-in-law and have to go about finding him again. they piece things together, have stolen an animal, have been to a strip bar and so on. there's a fantastic celebrity cameo at the end that even tops mike tyson in the fist.
 
I really enjoyed The Hangover Part 2. Its formula is identical to the first, but that's all one could expect. It works out perfectly fine that way.

To those who haven't seen it, be warned: there is a crapload of frontal nudity. It's pretty gross. Utterly hilarious, but gross.
 
I did really enjoy it, but it was just a bit too much like the other one for me, it was all the same material so nothing really shocked me or made me howl with laughter ;like the first one, i just expected chow to jump out of that ice cooler, the first time with the car boot almost finished me off it tickled me that much
 
Yeah, there weren't many surprises. Though I'm not sure how they could've made a sequel to the first movie without doing things virtually the same way. Maybe they could go through all the hilarious antics prior to getting smashed, then conclude the movie with them getting drunk and waking up with a hangover? Dunno how successful that'd be. More brainstorming would be needed.
 
I thought it was funny, but I feel like they tried way too much at trying to be funny sometimes, and other times I felt that it was just number 1 again.

I mean I wish I didn't watch it in theaters and saved my money and rented it, but overall I think it was ok, still think it was a one time hit, like dumb and dumber and step-brothers, you just don't do sequels to these movies.
 
This was pretty awesome!

I love the whole getting lost in Bangkok idea and how Mr Chow was in it once again. XD He really made the movie in the first one. <3

The part that really shocked me the most was when Stu finds out he had sex with a lady man. XD That was just wrong. >.<
