is this game worth getting i have seen it in a few shops and i have thought about getting it but i wasn't sure weather i would like it or not, so is it worth getting

i'd get the game for a few reasons, mainly:

1) it's quite rare and it wont be made again
2) it's a must for hardcore FF fans

While it's not the best title made, and it's a shooter not an RPG, i find it that anything with FFVII's name on it i must buy. Why? Because FFVII was in my opinion, the best game ever, and i don't care how much they milk it, i want everything to do with FFVII. Every story, ever new character, every game. I just keep the fire burning until the re-make of FFVII is announced.

With that in mind, the choice is yours. Just don't expect the best game ever. It's just a fun shooter with a story for Vincent.

It's a must for Hardcore FF gamers and No it won't be anything like this again....but:

I peronally disliked the game. It was okay but it was not up to par with other spin-offs. It could've been alot better, IMO.

You should go out and rent it, try and borrow it from a friend, or buy a second hand copy. It's definitely not worth the money you'll pay for it brand new. It's a good game to play once, but it isn't something that I'd go back and play again. The money is yours though, so at the end of the day it's up to you.

This game was bollocks to me. The battles were no fun, and you had to choose between EXP or Gil, which was very stupid. This is one of those games you buy just to see the story and CGI sequences. Game makers just can't do it like they could in the olden days anymore. =/

Haha. Luckily I had rented it first. It just wasn't good. I loved the FMV scenes though. They were quite nice.

Plus your average gamer can complete the game in a day or so.

The game is average. If you like the characters and story of FFVII it is worth buying.

Only a day or two?! Wow. And I thought Gears of War was shortest. I really want to try it out because I want to own most of the FF titles. I saw this in Gamestop the other day for 17.99. It was used. Do you think that is worth it?

I'm not an avid FF collector; I don't own every FF game ever made. I personally chose not to buy this game because it blatantly supports the Vincent/Yuffie pairing which is 100% fanmade. The game was made for "badassery" and "moneymaking" reasons since Vincent is among the most popular FF characters to Date. Not to mention that I hate shooter games.

There is absolutely no reason to buy this game, it's a waste of time and money. My reasons for saying that:

1. it's very mediocre as a shooter
2. the *American* voice acting is bad (Auron's voice actor does Vincent, Cait Sith is scottish, etc)
3. the only reason you'd want to play the game is to find out more about Vincent, and you can find every cutscene/FMV on youtube.

XD I was just about to mention Youtube as well. From the looks of it, the game is very short. In fact I'm sure you could view the entire gameplay on youtube.

I'm not very fond of all these sequels and FFVII spawns.
I am still upset that AC ruined the human destruction ending... =[

As am i, i think the human destruction ending was actually a UNIQUE ending. I mean the planet decided humanity was not in its best interest so it wiped it out. How many times do you see that in a story? Never! All you see is "humanity is a young race, they'll learn and get more mature"

But noooo, SE had to whore VII and read lousy fanfics so they decided to just churn out a bunch of half-assed games to make money.

So yeah, in short, dont buy the game. It COULD have been fantastic, but it's not.

And am i the only one who's bothered by everyone in the game calling Lucrecia "loo-cretz-see-ah"? It should be pronounced "loo-cree-sha" dammit! >__< Sorry, people pronouncing things wrong is just a huge pet peeve of mine *geek*
