I have taken the game offline, until New Years Eve. All characters will be reset for the new game.

Yes it does. I already lost mine. This is a totally new game. A fresh start.

Well, thanks for the heads up. Means I can own again as the Sage once more. xD

Ya and now theres going to be a story xD thats so awesome and im so pumped atm :P.. Ill be on all day New Years Eve

Yes, and we are adding more weapons instead of swords.

For Magic users, we might add Staffs that have a slight MAG bonus, like 5. It's not much, but it's better than nothing. Besides we still need to decide if it will be good to add modifiers.

Good now i can compensate with the mistakes i made on the other one...

I hope fighters don't have a big disavantage over magic users this time!!!!

They had one because everyone was so dead-set on Being a fighter, that it was unfair to magic users. :P

Now, it's better for you to be both, or you'll have lotsa trouble :D

Well, if you tuned your character into a battlemage early on, your stats would be a little low to fight bosses. Most people were fighters in the original because decent magic didn't come in until a good portion of the game was complete. By then you were already a warrior.

Blame that one on Adamant. I had several arguments with him over magic weaknesses. He kept saying the spells, I wanted to make, were overpowered. So I concentrated on weapons. Eventually, he broke down.

Right, well I hope the new one will have a balance between the two. I mean, in the original, being a warrior was very good if you were playing the main game. But when it came to PvP, well magic overwhelmed strength.

well as long as its beter i dont mind gaining my levels and money and weapons and stats and summon back
OMG there are alot of cutbacks for the stronger users
