The Divided Factions {RP}

OOC: Rene it's Leon Leinhart... not Skylar, XD

IC:
Hydra was perched at a high building when he heard a shot. He directed his attention to the center, where the king and both leaders were. He immediately realized what was happening and turned to the bell tower. A second shot. Hydra left his position and tried to get the sniper.

This is bad... Why did it have to be today? Damn it... it must have been a Liberator attempt to frame us Exiles... or maybe the Vast? Why else would they shoot the king and then the liberator lea... but... they wouldn't shoot their own leader... would they?... unless... it's just a look-alike, or perhaps... a clone? Ugh...

Hydra managed to get to the Bell Tower, and with a swift maneuver, he broke in via a window in the top floor. In the adjacent room there was an open window, and quick steps were still heard some floors below. Hydra quickly tried to follow, taking care not to trigger any traps that the assassin might have set. Damn! Damn... DAMN!!! Hydra had tripped at the bottom of the staircase, completely ignoring the existence of a broken step. He managed to lift his gaze, catching a glimpse of someone running away. There he i... Wait... I... got... to...

Hydra managed to shoot his stun gun... but he had no idea if it had hit it's target or not. What's this? Sleeping gas? Oh... shit... The last thing Hydra managed to do before falling unconscious was turning on his radio... Hopefully someone would read him and locate him, but Hydra couldn't know... He couldn't know if the next person approaching him would be friend or foe.

Eric stood in shock as he watched the king fall to the ground. This could not be happening; not at a time like this. for that one moment his body was frozen in place he could not move. The second shot freed him from his psychological daze. before the second body hit the ground Eric had already turned around looking for the shooter. The third shot gave him away. Eric found him pulling his gun back from the bell tower.
"You cannot ruin this," He said under his breath just before running off in the assassin's direction.
He pushed his way through the crowd. Everything around him was in chaos. there was going to be a riot.
As he got closer to the building he could see the assassin run for an exit on one of the upper levels. he quickly scaled the building to try and cut him off, but by the time he made it to the window the assassin and already passed him up. He quickly jumped in and continued his pursuit. The assassin dropped something near the bottom of the staircase (OOC:the sleeping gas.), but Eric ignored it and kept running. Just then he felt it for just a second. A sharp pain in his back. His body went rigid and he fell to the floor.

When the king died and the people started to panic and run off, Alberto noticed a guy escaping from the bell tower. "Damn, the Exiles aren't gonna make it in time. I know I'm retired, but somebody's got to get that asesino" he jumped across buildings and ran in what he believed to be in the direction of where the assassin was going. As Al ran, he took out his M1911, the MP5 he got from one of the mobsters and his combat knife, before dropping the bag. But however, he after searching throughout the area where he thought may be hiding, the assassin couldn't be found. "Dammit, it's times like these I wish I was still in the military.

Koffin stood still in the crowd of panic, surround by screams of the citizens who had just as much as Koffin witnessed the assassination of two very important leaders that were to help this once great planet unite with the hopes that one day it would achieve piece throughout it...

But now... The death of the two men had already sent the citizens of Sky City into panic and Koffin predicted it wouldn't be too long before an outrage spread across the planet and the world would once again rage war against eachother... It was only a matter of time before this would happen, before war would start again. Koffin hoped that it wouldn't have been this soon, but it seemed now more clearly then ever that the war was never about to end.

The assassination was too well thought out... At such an event as this it would be almost impossible to bypass security and manage to get clear shots on all three of what Koffin assumed to be the "Targets". It would have required detailed planning and probably even an inside man which only left out one possible thing... The King was killed and yet so was the Liberator leader... It is strange to think that a Vast would wan't the piece treaty to go array... Koffin could see clearly now that this was not only an assassintation but a framing of the Vast race...

Koffin although always lacking the effort to do things, now must act to help others he had scene go towards the bell tower. The place where Koffin assumed the aledged assassination took place.

Upon his entry into the building a light fog of some sort of smoke surrounded the area in which he had entered, deciding that it would not be wise to inhale such fumagation he covered his mouth and nose with his shirt and proceeded to enter the building... As he carried on through the smoke he came upon a staircase that had a man passed out upon it... Koffin knelt down and nudged the man with his hand and spoke through his shirt with a muffled voice "Hello are you okay?"

Henrietta was going to miss the treaty signing, but it didn't matter too much. The emergency service were still not here yet, which was odd, but there was no reason to be too concerned. "can i borrow your weapon please?" Henrietta rose a thin eyebrow before tapping the butt of her pistol. The pistol was out of question. With the 50 calibre round, it wouldn't work well as an interrogation tool. Her energy weapon weren't too good either. Rummaging through her inventory list on her HUD, she saw that she still held a Berreta 93R machine pistol in her pack. Here, take this. Change it to single fire though. With the pistol, she tossed him a khuhuri knife, both of them recovered from Marco's body. From over the intercom, the voice of King Kalimay boomed over the city. Ah shit. 8 years of fighting and i miss the signing... Just as she finished, a loud rifle shot cracked through the air. Instanty, both pistols came out and she turned to the guy and the vast. Instinct took over as she rolled behind the cover of the alley buildings. You! Whatever your name is! Get over here, with the Vast! The second shot echoed through the air and the whole square was up in pandamonium. Damn it. I knew this was going to happen... she muttered as she glanced at the bell tower and back at the guy.

OOC: Spartan, Leon isn't the shooter and he is also well hidden so cannot be found. Can you change your post please?

The sniper smirked as he dropped the sniper rifle next to the unconscious Vast man. He slipped a silenced pistol from his jacket and pointed it at the Vasts head as he began to awaken. "Sorry mate." He said simply as he pulled the trigger and executed the Vast.

The sniper smirked, he glided down the first flight of stairs and growled as he noticed a man coming upwards. He pulled out a knockout grenade and pulled the pin. He dropped the grenade and smirked as the man went unconscious after firing a stun gun at someone. "Fool..." He whispered as he jumped out the window and landed on the other roof. He twisted something on his wrist and turned on the camouflage on his clothing. "Now then. Where is Leon...?"

"I'm here." Leon muttered as the man jumped in surprise. Leon had quite easily snuck up on the man only known as Eagle Eye. "You missed your third target."

"Two outta three isn't so bad." The man smirked whilst shrugging. "If it weren't for that damned Exile lackey I wouldn't have.

"He'll be dealt with accordingly..." Leon muttered as the pair began to walk away. The quickly found an opening to the slums and stealthily went in. "You'll get your money as soon as we arrive at base."

"Why thank you sir."

"It will begin soon." Leon told him cryptically.

"The new war?"

"The Final Extermination of the Vast."

OOC: Oh and will someone bloody help Rene to infirmary please? He WAS shot in the chest and is unconscious now :P I would prefer Hydra or Hen to help but anyone will do :)

Nok sighted as the shots rang. So stupid assassins. Can't even do proper work. He quickly watched the 'Rene' guys, being carried to the infirmary. Nok began using the massive of the people as his vessel and soon caught up to the infirmary. He entered in it and stayed put next to the doctor and the pacient.

The wound was now being treated and Nok was hiding his presence near them. What a lucky person. Being shot in the body is pure pain. Nok knows it...

Alberto then thought of one person who would actually help him. "Looks like I'm gonna have to look for Senorita Henrietta, maybe she could help." He then went to search for Henrietta, but was difficult to find due to the crowds. Eventually, after a several minutes of searching, Alberto was able to find the girl, although she was with a young man and a much older person. "Senorita, thank god I finally found you. Somebody shot the liberator leader and the King."

"Hello are you okay?" Hydra heard. Huh? What happened? Hm... Oh, right!

Hydra stood up and covered his mouth. He was trying to focus on his surroundings, but had a hard time doing so. He distinguished a silhouette of a man standing beside him. It was he who had spoken.

"Thanks... for... uh... waking me...?" Hydra could now see clearly remember what was going on, so he eagerly tried to locate the man he had been chasing.

"Damn it! He got away..." Hydra would blame himself for being to confident and allowing himself to let the assassin escape, but there were other matters that were more important.

"Wait... I..." He had just remembered that he had turned on his radio before falling unconscious.

"Rene? You There? RENE? YOU HEAR ME? RENE!" Hydra thought it was weird how Rene wasn't responding. However, he could hear the commotion on the other side of the line.

"Well, I need to leave here now... My partner isn't responding, I must go and see what's going on. You may follow if you want to, thanks again." Hydra had started to run upstairs, managing to exit through a window and falling on to another roof. After a lot of running, jumping and evading people, Hydra managed to reach the place where Rene was.

Hydra saw Rene and stood still, shocked by the sight. Realizing how no one else would help Rene out of there, Hydra could only take him to the infirmary... God... I need to be fast... I can't lose Rene... Hydra lifted Rene and made sure that he had a clear way to get to the infirmary as fast as possible. The other bodies had already been removed, and the Exile leader had already been taken to safety.

"Out of the way! There's nothing to see here! Just keep on moving!"

Hydra dashed through the thick mass of people and finally reached the infirmary. I hope I'm not too late...

Hydra would have to wait until the doctor had his verdict. Only now, Hydra remembered the guy on the tower... Had he followed?

Koffin watched as the man rushed off to help his partner who had not responded to his call... Koffin assumed that it was the man who had been shot on stage and now Koffin regretted not helping the man as soon as he saw he was shot, but he assumed that the figure that loomed over him was going to assist to his wounds... Koffin was mistaken by this and now felt a bit of guilt for leaving the poor fellow to god knows what kind of fate now...

Koffin searched the his surroundings and decided that to get to the bottom of this it might be a bright idea if he found where the sniper had executed the assassination... So he diligently made his way up the broken down steps of the fumigated building, but as he was climbing the stairs he started to feel a lack of conciousness and started to get dizzy, yet as he approached the top of the stairs the fumes faded away from him and so he decided to sit for a moment and catch his breath...

How foolish he thought himself to run into this building unprepaired of this sort of situation, if he had not noticed the gasses before hand then the chances of him retaining his conciousness right now would be slim to none, and so he would have probly been just as gone as the man he woke from the steps.

Remembering the haste of the man he realized that the situation was still urgent and so he got back to his feet and quickly found the vantage point of the eledged assassin and where he might have been standing... Koffin found nothing as he walked around and searched the room except he suddenly felt his foot brush up against something and when he looked down, a dead Vast fell upon his vision.

Koffin examined the scene to find that it seemed that the Vast was the one who occupied the sniper rifle, yet the Vast had no pulse and as Koffin searched deeper into the matter he found that the man had a bullet hole in his head... Most others would assume that the Vast had commited suicide in fear of punishment for his crime or otherwise, but Koffin realized that the bullet hole size was not that of the calibur of a sniper rifle bullet.

It seemed as though the hole in the dead Vasts head was that of a smaller gun, such as a pistol of some kind or sort, and judging by the lack of hearing the sound that the gun was silenced... Koffin searched the corpse for any other weapons yet he could not find any that would fit to the description.

The man was obviously framed... Koffin had figured it out, but what could he do? Nobody would believe him, he has no high standings upon men or vast he was just a traveller come to see the situation of the treaty, and now he was caught up in all this mess... Koffin did his best to try and cover up the scenario and so he dissassembled the sniper rifle and hid it amongst his own self and then jumped through the window and made his way down to the slums of Sky City....

If he found the weapon that shot the vast in the head he could trace it back to the man who had ussed it to execute the man, and thus solving it, hopefully he could do this before another war broke loose, hope of that was bleak however...

as another man showed up Stephen glanced over at him "you can go if you want" Stephen informed her as he placed the machine pistol to the Vast's knee "I'm only gonna blow this guys knee caps off" Stephen announced calmly as he placed the barrel of the gun to his knee. "i will not yield to the likes of you human scum" Stephen gritted his teeth in rage "this was our planet before you tryed taking it from..." Stephen paused momentarily and sighed heavily "fuck it....*Bang*...I'm guessing that hurt" he announced as the Vast began rolling on the floor in pain "I will tell you nothing" he screamed in agony causing Stephen to smile "Fine" he announced as he handed the gun and the knife back to the girl "these are yours, i have my own" Stephen informed her as he smiled.

Rene Skylar

"Shiiit." Rene muttered as his eyes flickered open and he felt the enormous pain in his chest. "That hurt..." He properly opened his eyes and smirked as he saw his friend and partner stood over him. "Too close man, give me some space!" He smirked as he sat up. He noticed other people around him but his head was bad so he was having trouble remembering who they were. He stretched his arms and awaited Hydra's response. His eyes widened as he remembered what happened.

"How the hell was security breached!"

Henrietta frowned at what he said. Even though she was half, it still bothered her. She cought the two weapon in mid air before swiftly shoving it in her pack. To her left, a pair of emergency service medics scurried to her side. What is the problem? A bit late there. It was too late anyhow. PLease take that guys friend to the hospital and clean her up. I advise you to take the Vast he is beating up and him as well. The medic was confused at first, but just nodded her head to her friend. Okay. Will do. Two hovering gurneys trailed behind the two duo as they loaded the girl onto one before making their way to the Vast and the man. Sir, we need you to come with us to the hospital and wwe need to help the Vast.

As the medics went towards the guy, Henrietta turned back towards Alberto.
"Senorita, thank god I finally found you. Somebody shot the liberator leader and the King." I figured as much. So, what is it that you want? I am but a mercenary...for now. Henrietta crossed her arms
and kept a poker face. Part of herself wants to hunt the bastards down, but she needed to talk to Rene first. Last she saw, he was shot on stage, so the hospital was the best chance. I need to talk to Rene. Afterwards, then we talk. Turning on her foot, she made her way to the other medic. Hey, can your vehicle fit two more passengers? Huh? Um... one maybem but thats it. No problem. Alberto, if you're going to follow me, you take the seat. I'll ride the roof.

Stephen turned to face the medic "I'm fine, i aint got the problem, take the girl she wants to go to the hospital" Stephen informed the Medic as he turned and ran off, his Free running talents being shown as he jumped over benches and walls. after a few minutes of running he was at the top of the stairs collecting his bag and finding Ricky and Jesse. "Guys im leaving, i can't take it not right now, Sarah was murdered" Stephen announced as he threw his bag over his shoulder and exited the room.

"Shiiit."

"You're back!" Hydra was calmed down by the fact that Rene had awaken, but he wasn't too sure what he knew and remembered.

"That hurt..."

"Okay, at least you remember what just happened." Hydra was glad to shear this, but still not too confident.

"Too close man, give me some space!"

"Ah well, you shouldn't try to move just yet" Hydra now knew nothing was wrong: He hadn't lost memory nor movement.

"How the hell was security breached!"

"I... don't know..." Hydra tried to come up with a reasonable answer.

"Well, must've been those liberator bastards... maybe they managed to distract or bribe the guards... maybe even taking them out..." Hydra then remembered the fact that had made him doubt.

"But there's a thing that doesn't fit..." Hydra waited for Rene to respond.

"And it's the fact that the Liberator leader was also killed... but... might it be a clone? a look-alike?" Hydra was aware of what might happen next... and also of how heavy such accusation was, but there was no other more logical solution...

I figured as much. So, what is it that you want? I am but a mercenary...for now. Alberto, stroked his chin thinking, then said, "I just come to inform you. As for who killed the VIP's, it most likely either a Vast or a Lib. Either way, it means that the war is about to begin again." Alberto then turned towards the nurse. Apparently, the third victim shot, Rene, was in critical condition and is in the hospital, and Henrietta wanted to talk to him. Alberto, if you're going to follow me, you take the seat. I'll ride the roof. "Ok, I'll follow, maybe Rene knows what is going on around here." Alberto then sat down in the seat and prepared to ride his way to the hospital.

"I knew i would find you here" Ricky announced as he stood facing Stephen, who again stood on the wall at the edge of the City. "what do you want Ricky?" Stephen asked as he glanced over his shoulder, tears still rolling down his cheeks in rage and sadness. "I can't imagine how you are feeling right now" Stephen spun around and drew his pistol "well then leave me the Fuck alone" Stephen announced before stepping off of the wall and running into the City.

Rene sighed as he listened to Hydra talk. He leaned back on the bed and searched his memory, sure that he had seen something... or someone just before he went unconscious.

"But there's a thing that doesn't fit..." Hydra waited for Rene to respond.

"I know. Something doesn't seem right. This was far too well planned. It's not traditional libby style." Rene said to Hydra and himself. He thought for several more moments before Hydra said something else.

"And it's the fact that the Liberator leader was also killed... but... might it be a clone? a look-alike?"

"No. It doesn't matter that he was the leader. Don't forget that they were real angry anyway that he was gonna sign the treaty. So I guess that means it a liber-" A cell phone rang. On the cabinet aside Rene's hospital bed, his slim black cell phone vibrated and jingled a little tune. Rene picked up the cell phone and answered.

"Cap'n Skylar here." Rene said. He listened intently for a few seconds before his eyes widened. "What... Does that mean?" He listened for a few more seconds before hanging up the phone.

"They found the body of a Vast in the bell tower where the shooting came from. His fingerprints were all over the weapon that has been identified as the one that killed the king and the liberator leader..."

"Hell no, another war is gonna break out."

With the boy leaving so aruptly, Henrietta had no choice but to take responsibility for the girls body. Tch, so much for friendship, leaving her body to a stranger. Um...Ma'am, we need to leave if there is nothing else to do. With a curt nod, the medics and Alberto entered the Hoever Ambulance while Henrietta clambered onto the roof. Ma'am, you can't ride on the roof! Its illegal plus dangerous. Just move the crate and leave the legalities with me. Her eyes pierced right through the medic. The poor girl took a gulp and stepped on the peddle, shooting out towards the hospital.

Surprisingly, considering the widespread panic, the Ambulance reached the hospital within a few minutes. Nodding a thank you, Henrietta walked into the hospital (or the Infirmary). Do you know where Captain Skylar is? Henrietta asked tersely. The flustered receptionist pointed towards the west side before returning to her phone. A few seconds of searching, Henrietta found him, and Hydra. Rene.. she was about to ask what had happened, but seeing their flustered and none-too-happy expressions, Henrietta stopped. Instead she offered her assistance, albeit in a very professional and concise way. I'll help you if you need any assistance.

"No. It doesn't matter that he was the leader. Don't forget that they were real angry anyway that he was gonna sign the treaty. So I guess that means it a liber-"

"True..."

Ring... Hydra saw Rene answering the phone.

"Cap'n Skylar here."

"What... Does that mean?"

He then saw Rene hanging up.

"They found the body of a Vast in the bell tower where the shooting came from. His fingerprints were all over the weapon that has been identified as the one that killed the king and the liberator leader..."

"Shit... I'm sure they tried to frame the Vast... We got to see that corpse..."

"Hell no, another war is gonna break out."

"yeah..."

Rene..

Hydra heard Henrietta, but wasn't able to answer, he just gave her a quick look.

I'll help you if you need any assistance.

"Thanks... We're in... hard times... we need all possible assistance, but..." Hydra turned to Rene before continuing.

"You just got shot, you aren't able to leave here for some time... Maybe I'll have to take over... What do you say?"
