Had to play 'Play-doh' yesterday. Accept this poorly molded Centaur ghost that looks oddly color coordinated to the Hulk.

Those are two great centaurs! I wish I could like the post twice.

The playdough Hulk-centaur is a unique idea. I guess by using a staff that would make him wise like Chiron and quite unlike his barbaric brethren. And yet, the Hulk aspect makes it even more interesting. Perhaps pre-staff he was the regular Hulk and behaved with brutality like the naughtiest of centaurs, but with the staff he is more like Professor Hulk, the more tame version of the Hulk which merges the intellect of Banner with the strength of Hulk. :hmm:

When I was younger I consistently misread Cactuar as Cactaur, so this art has extra significance to me!

I'd like to say same, but I still have a hard time spelling both Cactuars and Centaurs, so....:8F:Don't come at me when I'm spelling stuff wrong.

I was moving stuff around on my desktop and realized my 'Centaur Club' folder was spelled 'Centuar' so there's that, too.

Yes I have a Centaur Club folder.

I think the Cactuar > Cactaur thing gets a lot of people. I hadn't really heard how people pronounce some FF terms until I met fellow FF fans at KupoCon events and sometimes people would say Cactuwar (for Cactuar) and sometimes people would say Cactar (for Cactuar again), some people would say Cactaur. Implying to me that the Cactaur mistake is quite common!

If you would like to choose a 'Centaur name', feel free to do so. That is not mandatory, and we don't exactly take any of this seriously. I, for example, have given myself the Centaur name of 'Neighthan Drake' (after the Uncharted character). But we don't seriously identify as Centaurs on a spiritual level or anything. It's just an interest group. :thehead:

We totally don't identify as Centaurs on a spiritual level or anything, that would just be silly :wacky:

But I'll register you in the Centaur mural if you do join :wacky: So far I have 4 forum/club members doodled up against their will for not entering the photo contest last Christmas event. After our club members are done I'll move onto the rest of the ungrateful brats :ahmed:

I'm not exactly a fan of centaurs, I am more of a Sprite/Fairy and Werewolf person :ohoho:

But if the name was mandatory, I would be MadMare cuz... Madness... :yay:

Honestly, I wouldn’t say/neigh that centaurs are my absolute favourite mythical species of all time, but this club is just a lighthearted one because centaurs became a bit of a meme for a while.

Welcome, MadMare!

Whether you now would like to run through a field and eat our award-winning hay pie as part of your initiation ceremony is entirely up to you. Most of us (me included) skip that.
 
Whinny that is the most beautiful piece of Centaur art I've ever seen. I've never been so terrified and mesmerized at the same time. Desktop Triceratops (Name still pending?) is a beautifully sweet addition as well!
