The best show/concert

3 of my most favourite concerts were seeing Nil's Lofgren 3 times on his UK tours when he comes. Absolutely great acoustic sets, can fill a room with one guitar!

Another one was seeing Southside Johnny and the Asbury Dukes in Sheffield.

Years ago when they originally decided to break up I was at Oasis' "last" concert lol. Held at the Carling Festival, Leeds. But obviously they brough out an album about 2 months later. Dumbasses.

Will probably be blown away when I get down to see Metallica @ the new Wembley Arena in July. (Tickets came yesterday ^^)

I just saw Evanescence live in concert on Monday along side with Finger Eleven and Chevelle. Let me just say I almost lost my hearing. That was the best concert I ever been to!

I saw Linkin Park, Metallica, Limp Bizkit, and the Deftones on Project Revolution tour a couple years ago. Although I didnt have money for floor tickets(was in dallas stadium) it was still amazing.

Though this sunday there is a concert i have tickets to that include, dropping daylight, papa roach, the almost, red jumpsuit, my chemical romance, jet, bullet for my valentine, the killers, bowling for soup, say anything, saocin, so much more....and i finally got my floor tickets

I've only ever attended one concert, and that was for ZZ Top T_T

I'd have loved to have gone and see The Police, but that won't be happening...

D'espairs Ray in a small club in NYC. D'espairs Ray is a jrock band btw. The concert was amazing! There was a small amount of people and not too many annoying fan girls. I also got to touch the singer's hand (Hizumi ) and I got the base (Zero) water bottle! XD

I also saw Dir en grey twice. Family Values and Nokia theater.

I'm going to see Tool this summer. I heard they were awesome live.

Let's see...I've been to the Common Ground Festival, where they have two concerts going on at once...I've been to a Christian Rock concert...I've even seen the B52s live. (Yes, they're still around.)

...but none of them compare to...

Weird Al Yankovic. A few years ago, he was doing his whole Poodlehat debut at the community college I currently go to. I never thought I'd live to see his Fat suit with my own eyes until that night. Fuckin'. Hilarious.

Favorite Concerts You've Been Too!

What shows and or concerts have you been to that has been your favorite, hands down. For me it would have to be the 2001 Warped Tour with AFI and NOFX playing side by side on different stages but playing into each other sets. It was the funniest thing!

Only seen Kaiser Chiefs and Paramore live. Can't decide which one I preferred really. Probably Paramore, since I'm a bigger fan of them but Kaiser Chiefs certainly did have a big presence on stage. And they were really good with the crowd.

You spelled to wrong btw. :neomon:

Ugh, I've only been to one gig and it was Simple Plan a few years ago >_> <_<. I'm sure there are loads I want to go to but I can never find people to go with... my friends don't really like the same music as me in general. :wacky:
You spelled to wrong btw. :neomon:

:monster:

Of the entire two iv been two it James

Even if Id been to loads Id still say it was James tho :wacky:

It was epic the atmosphere was AMAZING. I made sure we got there an hour early so we were like right near the front. I ended up stood in my heels for like 5 hours but it was so worth it I just sang along andjumped around like a crazed fool the entire time

Avenged Sevenfold or Lostprophets

Both had an amazing stage presence but Lostprophets stole the show due to them being Welsh and I'm from Wales

-Threads Merged-

Can't say I've been to any concert yet. >.> I really want to see AFI though. I already know that if I do see them in concert, it would be a favorite concert of mine for all time. xD

I've only ever been to one real concert... it was a Blink 182 concert, but Taking Back Sunday and Cypress Hill opened for them... it wasn't bad until the shit started, and then even the security guard ended up groping the chick I was with, so we got out of there. Music was good... but it just wasn't a good experience. Thus, I haven't been to another concert since... I stick to CDs and televised concerts, now.

The Roger Waters Tour...
That was freakin' awesome, he played a new song and we all went crazy...
There was a few hippies doing joints in the crowd though, and Roger pointed one of them out at the start and laughed...
It was great

Both times I've seen Weird Al live he's put on such an amazing show. The first time I saw him, when he performed Fat he had on the entire fat suit from his video of it. Crazy thing was he changed into it in less than 5 minutes backstage. Second time I saw him, when he did White and Nerdy he rode onto stage on a Segway. His shows are always such fun, and in between songs he'll play clips from his TV show or faked celebrity interviews. He's really quite the entertainer.

Disturbed and Linkin Park are pretty amazing live as well, but Weird Al definitely tops my list.

I went to see Gallows on the 29th of last month. It was the most fun I've had in a long time.

It was only a small venue but that's why it was so good, the place just erupted when they finally took to the stage. After two and a half hours of support bands it was like Christmas came early.

After a few songs and a lot of moshing, the small crowd took to throwing glasses at the band. They weren't too happy about it but they carried on playing and after another song the crowd got back into it and in the end everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Luckily I didn't get injured, some parts of the mosh pit were pretty fucking violent so I just ran through into another part of it and thrashed around for a few minutes before retreating and taking a picture or two. My mate wasn't so lucky; he was punched in the nuts once and thrown to the ground then consequently thrampled on 3 times.

The highlight of the night for me was the drumstick I got at the end of it all, after the last song the drummer threw his sticks into the crowd and I was lucky enough to get one without having to fight for it.

I'd easily pay double to see them again.
