Saw this on youtube and it made me giggle how many FF7 references are in the Tales of the Abyss opening alone (as you'll tell, with them being side to side >_>)

But I agree, TotA is pretty much FF7 had FF7 not become popular.....

Then again the Tales series only became popular because of Symphonia.....

Abyss and Symphonia are the ones that really stand out to me, though Phantasia is starting to slowly appeal to me as well... One thing I like about Tales games is the difficulty settings which are missing from FF games
