I should have really planned this Vivi only better.
I realised a few major points that will be... very tough/impossible with the rules I have in place.

1) Oelivert (Ark mainly)
2) meltigemini
3) The fixed fights in Terra

So I think i'm going to have to have a bit of leniency with levelling other characters arond those points, i'm going to get Limit Glove for Quina too, I think...
It's... nigh impossible otherwise. :hmmm:
 
Is it? I've seen people do level 1 challenges for Ozma... so wouldn't there be a low level guide out there you could follow for those fights?
 
Oh yeah, I know that.
But I set up challenges for myself.
In fact, I think I'm going to just change it to: Vivi only, level 1 challenge otherwise. That's possible, but even with levelled characters what I was going to attempt to do would've been suicide. :wacky:
 
I made a big fool of myself, I found the training too slow so I thought 'I know, lets get all the characters to pass out (Ice Cavern) and then go and solo some monsters' little did I know Zidane doesn't want them to die :jtc:
 
So I'm guessing with a level 1 challenge you need specific accessories and shiz. Is there something that will only work at level 1 and not if you level them up a little? 8(

With the rules I had in place, yes.
I wouldn't really have been able to use things like Clear Headed for ark or Antibody for meltigemini, or (most importantly) Thievery and Limit Glove.
 
Ah. You challenge yourself. I never really get round to doing challenges. When I do, I usually turn off the console after I get a Game Over, because I cba fighting through the Mihen Highroad with no decent abilities or something like that. -__-

I think you can in Xbox360s. Not sure about PS3.
 
360's you can although it depends on the game, it normally says on the back of the case if you can.
PS3's you can't.

It was epic playing RE5, without the bgm and putting FF music on. :wacky:
 
I could really do with that sometimes, improvising by muting the volume and putting on your own music isn't the same, you still need the sound effects. :sad3:

Quite shocking the Ps3 don't do it, mind, you think they would.
 
I was rather suprised at it too, I don't know what possible reason would make it that hard. eh, maybe they'll release it as an odd on thing for a few quid. ¬_¬
 
Maybe we'll see it in the PS4, whenever that may be. :rage: Someday, we'll be able to play Final Fantasy music, WHILE PLAYING ASSASSIN'S CREED!
 
That'll be well weird. My playlist'll end up being so scrambled, mind at this moment in time, it'll mostly consist of Gorillaz, I'm having another fangasm over them and keeping looping Demon Days on the way to college, maybe occasionally switching to Kings of Leon.
 
I'm really not much into lyrical music these days. Aside from Flyleaf and Paramore, I'm mostly listening to instrumental rock and video game tracks.
 
Same as Diar here, i'm basically sat here listening to the price of freedom and trying not to bawl, i'm such a sap. :8F:

But yeah, music on PS3's would've been nice. D:
 
I've just found the music in most fighting games to be really boring or repetitive. I'd love to jazz it up a little with my iTunes playlist xD
 
I think that they have to be repetitive.. to an extent since they have to loop it, although I think it's nailed beautifully in FF's. Then again, I am a biased nerd. :monocle:

Good God, I don't know you anymore Jess. Come round and you can play IX on my PSP and I can just give you coffee and we can chat about all sorts, it'll be fun. :mokken:
 
I think we need to call the doctor if Jess hasn't had coffee in a week. She may be coming down with something again. :hmmm: Anyway to add to the PS3 music conversation it would be awesome, there would be quite a few games I would mute the music and have my own music playing.
