Oh really? I just noticed everyone had jumped right ahead with theirs and I've been lagging behind. Ah well! I don't have to feel so bad after all now. xD
 
The closest thing to an actual FF game I've played recently is Dissidia, and even though that has exclusively Final Fantasy characters in it, it really isn't like any FF game, but a one on one fighting game, with an open battlefield for fighting. :P
 
I'm having so much fun with FFIX. I'm about to go crazy playing Chocobo Hot and Cold though, I can feel it :wacky:
 
The worst/most suicidal chocobo game in FF history = FFX's Chocobo Catcher.

That game... :hmph: Never again, I can see this being my last playthrough, at least last playthrough doing the extra shit.
 
ahhhhh tis goood to be back, been neglecting the forums lately :sad2: been preoccupied with stuff. aby way, my ffviii needs updating along with other stuff. i need to actually play ffviii to see wher it is i am up to.

what was the chocobo catcher game in ffx i can't actually remember it :hmmm:
 
Just the infuriating game where you had to run through the Calm Lands on a Chocobo, catching balloons and avoiding aggressive birds and balls in an attempt to get it done in 0 seconds.

Nothing much, really. -__-
 
That game :ffs: It's enough to make you go bald. Anyway, FFX playing has tempted me to put it in X-2, might do a playthrough diary of it if I can put in the effort.
 
ohh that game, i hated the one where you had to dodge blitzballs and birds, i like the race one at the end. im giving my playthrought a brake for a bit dont know why though just can't be bothered at the minute :mokken:
 
I don't mind getting the Sun Sigil personally (Chocobo Racing), or many of the other celestial weapons.
The only celestial weapon i've never ever maximised is World Champion, I loathe blitzball and it just put me off using Wakka altogether. xD
A lot of people tend to find it odd how the butterfly hunt, dodging (200) lightning bolts and the chocobo racing don't bother me, yet blitzball makes me rage just looking at the opening screen of it. :mokken:

And Manda, I had a problem with the PS2 not reading discs awhile back/sometimes still get it, is it a slimline or the older version? :hmmm:
 
I want to resume my FFX playthrough, but I'm afraid I may have left my memory card at my mother's. Oh, the joy! I'm half tempted to start again and might even be able to get back to where I was before. But that'll mean it'd have been the third time on this. >_>

I actually found it in my laptop bag before, so I'm most certainly looking about to be writing up my playthrough diary later.
 
I ended up playing IX. It's mainly the higher steal rate thing that convinced me, but I haven't done a proper IX playthrough since before I got the internet :ness: So like, 2006, if not before xD

I normally do a playthough of VII, VIII, IX, X and XII once every year without realising it. :wacky:
I just get into the mood and go "ooh, i'll stick [insert FF game here] on."
30 odd hours later and i'm done. xD

Don't think i've heard of it before, and everyone should've been expecting confusion, you all knew when the theme started. :mokken:
 
I've been on FFIX too much lately as well. I should crack on with FFX, but I just can't be ARSED.
