How would you guys feel about having a member of Tantalus streaming a vidya game every now and then? For example, I stream myself playing video games all the time, and for me it's really fun, and most of the time the audience seems to enjoy it. :hmmm:

So I was wondering, maybe, just maybe, you guys would like to start your own streams and invite fellow Tantalus members in. We could work out a schedule and everything.

So, good idea, or bad idea? :hmmm:
 
personally i quite like the idea, its a good way to not only showcase a player but it also acts as a guide to tips and tricks with certain games, like a interactive diary as such.
 
Since I am one of your every day watchers I immediately like this idea.
And the fact I stream a bit myself from time to time when I feel like it (and don't fail).

I think it's a pretty good idea as well. :hmmm: May also be a good way of showing each other what some of our players are capable of. I like it!

I have never actually streamed myself, but I have recorded a few playthroughs to Youtube. So, I imagine I could do this after a bit of tinkering.
 
I'm all up for the idea, too. Would be fun to see just what everyone REALLY gets up to when they're playing a game.
 
im all up for it as well but i dont have the software t stream onto the internet haha, but it would be cool to be on someone elses stream, soo yeahh im am all for it!
 
I think that I'll post my streaming schedule up soon, so you guys can jump in my stream whenever I'm on. :yay:

I think this is a wonderful idea, although we need to get an idea of who can actually stream games :hmmm: I know I've tried to stream, but it gets all glitchy >.<
on that note, Ringo do you know how to avoid said glitchiness?

Anyways, I think this is a great idea and I would love to see it implemented in our clan.

I tried streaming once on this craptop, and it failled. :wacky:
I do however, have a playthrough of Resident Evil 3 on my youtube. xDDD

I don't think it's a possibility for me to stream many games, could give it another shot, but it's highly doubtful i'll get far. :hmmm:

We should post our streamer ID's and such (everyone who I know uses Livestream -> http://www.livestream.com/ ) and/or our youtubes since I guess that's another way of getting it across if you have the recording capability, but either way it's a pretty strong no from me. I'd love to do it, but alas. :monster:
 
I'm game for the streaming idea. I tend to do it now and then, but I haven't really got a schedule or anything :wacky:. Anyway, ja, I'm up for doing a few streams as well as watching you guys do them. (y)

Avoiding the glitches... I would recommend a program called "Game Booster". It shuts down all unnecessary things running on your computer to free up more ram to help your games run faster. I use it while I stream to help get rid of lag and stuff. (Because Livestream Procaster is a beast from hell that eats ram for breakfast. O_O)

Try that, and do a test stream with a couple of buddies, and see how it runs. =3

Anyway, I think that anyone who can stream should be added to the first post so people can see who can stream and how to get to them, those who can't could either ask for help or just watch anyway? :hmmm:

I've finally got a capture card now so I can stream stuff, I can stream PS3 games (yet mine's breaking... again and it's not my console fully. ¬_¬), PS2, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox/360 games. :8F:
Apparantly I can't stream in 60hz though, unless it's in black and white, which sucks. :mokken:

Either way, if anyone does want to watch my stream. Clicky. (I'll be streaming XIII a lot soon)
 
M'kay... About to host my first edition of FFF Tantalus stream. I'll start it at 12:00pm Central time. I'll stream just about anything I can get my hands on, and suggestions are more than welcome. I'll probably stream for 4 hours straight. We can rant, talk, shoot the shit, etc.

Well, that could have gone better. Lucky on Shaun showed up. Internet was being a god damned bitch, so the stream quality was pretty fucking shit. Not to mention the updates for Procaster threw me off. I'll try it again some other time. :hmmm:
