I missed his inability to actually defend himself, sure. His retorts always got me larfing too... albeit for not the intended reason on his part.

Nah, not really. Fields just attacked everyone and thought he was amazing because he was in the minority of people who could insult people with bigger words.

Am I the only one who actually thought that The Guv'na was a decent guy? I never understood why he was held in such contempt.
