My birthday was today and i got 50euro which should i re-buy FFVII or FFVIII? i had both but then they got robbed >:( i cant decide which was better

P.S.S Dont tell me to buy both cause i need some cash for....well nevermind just dont do it =)
 
Great, another bitch feast thread ...

I say go for 8 cause its my ulitmate fav Final Fantasy. The game has great characters, OST, summons, excellent battle system and is just amazing.

But at the end of the day its your cash and your decision.

Oh yeah and happy birthday.
 
I think like ~SapphireStar~ said, you need to just read up on it yourself and make your own decision. Because there's not going to be a clear-cut winner in this thread :/

Already there's a vote for VIII, and I would say VII. VII is my favorite FF game ever, and VIII is one of my least favorites.

So, your call buddy xD

I say FFVII because it was a classic IMO. But VIII is good too.

Seriously though, you're going to get a very split opinion here (though I'd say the majority will be towards VII). I preferred VII's story and characters, and I just enjoyed it a whole lot more.

But at the end of the day, it's your money, so you decide.
 
I found VII to be much more enjoyable, and considering the fact you've probably completed both already, purchasing one over the other for enjoyability would be best.


Depending entirely on which you prefer, but VII really does surpass VIII.
 
Of course eBay and Amazon will deliver to Ireland. They're worldwide. At least eBay is, not totally sure about Amazon. It can't be hard to find it on the internet though. Try play.com or gameplay.com.
 
i say go for 8 if you like graphics and battle play and go for 7 if you like deep storylines and love stories
 
FFVII is more rare than FFVIII, especially if you buy it factory sealed. FFVIII is still relatively popular in terms of supply. The last import store that I went to had FFVII for $120 and FFVIII for $50, both factory sealed.
 
Well, since you had both of them originally, you should know which of the two you prefer over the other... Both are great games in their own respects, but if you looking to save money in the long run, then FFVIII is probably your best option. That is if you lucky enough for find a copy of FFVII for under 50 Euro plus shipping.
