Ok. So I'm working on the opening post for the RP. But though I'd post the "Notice" in the RP up here too.

This is a notice that is all around Falena marking the beginning of preparations for the Royal Games. Work out amongst yourselves if you're going to take part for yourself or in the name of another (female fighters can only fight if they are doing it in a man's stead). PM me if you are are interested in entering the Royal Games tournament.

Ok so here is the notice.


The Royal Games

The Royal Games, a tradition of the Falenan Royal Family for centuries; the ultimate tournament which will decide the fate of the Queendom. The winner will recieve honor above all others, as well as the future title of Commander of the Queens' Knights. However, the true reason behind the Games is to decide who will take the Princess's hand in marriage and become her defender upon her ascension to the throne.

All may enter so long as they know how to wield a weapon; or hire another to do the fighting for you whilst you walk away with the prize.

Preceding the Matches, the Prince and his Bodyguard will take part in the Ceremonial Opening Battle to officially start the Royal Games.

Those wishing to try for the highest honor placed upon a male in Falena, must be registered before the match-ups begin.


Also, I REALLYneed someone to make a character that matches one of the Queen's Knight stars. Preferably within the next few days. The games will start when Enough people have entered (4, 8, or so on)

I think I may make a Queen's Knight character. Does the gender of the character matter at all? Will that character be able to fight in the Royal Games?
 
The sad thing about having this many characters/players, is that it becomes clusterfuck, and if a night has gone well somewhere, that sad person have 18 pages to read.

Due to this, it is a high possibility that I might withdraw from it. Just so you know ^^


Also, for the princess' hand in marriage?
Would be interesting if my beast char would have been that person, eh?

If it comes down to it, I will have a word with you RP mods about splitting the two sides bases into two threads to save all the base interaction in one thread and have a main RP thread. For now though, we'll just have to try not to post too far ahead.

So if you're with someone, don't reply until all people in your interaction group have.

We'll have to play by ear for now Fox. We can work something out between you guys and I later down the line if it's necessary.

Personality: Pompous, officious, meddlesome, and bossy would all be good words to describe Colet's personality. He seems rather puffish normally. Especially when he's around the princess. However, when a serious fight starts, he becomes serious. On a side note, he hates it when people pronounce his name, Coh-let.

 Brief History: Colet was born into a wealthy and noble family, so when he became of age, a place in the Queen's Royal Guard was practically secured for him. Despite this, he is a rather skillful knight, and he takes his job seriously, though maybe a bit overzealous. He acts a the princess' own personal bodyguard, and is terribly overprotective of her.

Personality: Despite his young age, Damien has a very calm, cool demeanor. So cool that he's far from a nice person. He'll answer civil pleasantries in clipped, short answers. He'll be respectful of course, but rarely engages in social activities since he is serious about his duties to protect the prince. He's rarely off his guard, and uses his youthful appearance as an advantage when people underestimate him. He doesn't disclose his age to anyone beyond those who already knows it, not wanting to be addressed as a child despite his status.

Brief History: Damien was the middle child of 5 in the Noble Adelaide Family. Not ignored, but he didn't receive as much attention as his 2 elder brothers and younger brother and sister. When he became 10, he decided to enroll in the academy to be a knight for the Queendom. Although surprised by the decision, his family supported it, having had knights in their bloodlines in the past. When he was 15, he was selected to be Prince Michio's bodyguard and has been near the prince ever since. Despite that, Damien and the prince aren't close freinds, although Damien has become wary of Michio's increased pursuit in knowing him intimately and desire to close the gap in their relationship as prince and bodyguard.

Weapon Name: Shinken, which literally means "Holy Sword"

The Shinken was a weapon Damien's granfather had in his possession, although he had never used it due to the extremely heavy impractical weight of the blade. He had merely kept it as a trophy of war. However, in Damien's hand, the blade for some reason weighed literally as light as a feather and he managed it with ease, although he would still hold it with two hands. Others trying to lift the object would compain that it was too heavy for them, and his grandfather had teasingly told him the blade had been waiting for it's destined user.

Ok guys. I've come to realise with the systems and such I need to put in place for this RP, that it's going to get incredibly complicated to keep to minimal threads.

So I've started this particular story and RP on a basic forum. If you're still interested in taking part in the RP, PM or IM me and I'll give you the link. If you've already been assigned stars and such, you'll still get the same ones etc. It's not 100% completed in it's new home, but I'm just letting you know.

If you don't want to carry on with this in the new place, that's fine. This RP will be closed in a couple of days.
