[Suggestion] Far more section mods are needed

Note that this is not me requesting a place on staff before anyone says.
Anyway, take a look at the entire staff list;

As you see, we have two moderators for the RP section, one of which is also a GMod, and one moderator for the Creativity section, and no specific section moderator for the main theme of this site; Final Fantasy. While there are plenty of active staff members there, which is all nice, there should be at least three section moderators for such a large portion of the site, which encompasses all spinoffs.
But I suppose this has been brought up in staff, eh?
 
it is a good idea to include more staff.....but who would be up to the task and of course who is 'worthy' of it?

also what about forums staff?

Yea, it has been brought up in staff. We are discussing a few people. Always are. Thanks for your concern though. If there is anything specific you find going un-modded, report the post. We'll get to it. Until then we are always looking to make this place better by recruiting good mods. :)
 
I want to know how I become a friend of Final Fantasy. I donated some money but it didnt ask for my username.
 
what do forums staff do anyway?

after all there are none are they unimportant or are there just none due to lack of choice?
 
They report on news regarding Final Fantasy generally. But usually members find it first, which is why we have none I suppose.

Anyway, any ideas how long it would take for some staff to be appointed? It can't really take too long to discuss something like that between the current staff, seeing as you're so few in numbers :monster:.
 
There's a few people being thrown around as staff potentials. The current staff are covering enough ground as it is, and we'll expand once we feel it's necessary.

That's pretty much the problem. Anytime someone is suggested, the rest of the staff isn't sure. It's just that if someone is suggested by a staff member... everyone else on staff just doesn't know that suggested person as well as the one staff member. We are discussing people though. Thanks for the concern. Being low on good mods isn't easy on anyone.
 
We really do need a moderator for the FF section... there is so much spam being posted in there, and we really need someone who is dedicated to that section alone.
 
From what I have heard the staff is well aware of this and looking into it. Just a little more patience and this should be handled. For the time being, just keep reporting what you can and trying to keep people on topic.

i agree we do need more staff but it is for the admin to decide and i don't really think there are enough people that they could trust would not abuse their power i think i can name only a few right now i can say that i am one of them cause i hate people abusing their power (like clinton)

I completely Agree with Edea on this. if you take a look in the FF sections almost all of the threads have red boxes next to them indicating a post has been deleted. the fact is more spam and less quality posts have been seen in the FF section recently and it really would be better to have a mod focusing soley on those areas.

Your the one shouting at Maleficant for suggesting LA for a mod when here you are bascially saying "I'd be a good mod" so if her suggesting LA is against the rules im sure that what you said is too.

Besides, im sure that the admins wouldn't mind members opinions on who they feel could be capable mods because Opinions count, this is a public thread and Maleficant was well within her right to suggest LA as a section mod since the topic is about the lack of suggestion mods, and Aztec mentioned how hard it was to find good members to be mods. so Maleficant made a perfectly allowed suggestion, one which im sure many members (such as myself for example) would support.
 
d'lain and Maleficent you have both received a 2 point infraction for spamming. It will expire in one month. Between the two of you, Saix and I had to delete eight of your spam and flame induced posts. I do not want to see it again.
 
sorry i just can't stand it that i forgit to fuss to people over the pm system
but we do need more mods
 
yeah but it is all up to the staff at the end of the day to decide so you just need to look out for them

i don't want to be a mod i don't know the site well enough and i would end up being too easy on people so no way will i become a mod here i have enough to do already so sorry to bust your bubble but i prefer to help people stay out of trouble not get into it
so plz get some more mods so i don't have to fuss to people as much
 
... you people sure know how to ruin perfectly good threads, don't you? The problem has been noted, and the staff are discussing the issue.
