Russia the world's biggest country, it borders Poland ( if you don't know where that is, it's next to Germany) and it kept the part of Poland it took in the Nazi- Soviet non aggression pact, AKA the Molotov- Ribbentrov pact.
Georgia, the country, is a former Soviet republic that borders Russia. It has two semi-autonomous regions that want independence, but Georgia wants to keep them. There are ethnic Russians, in these two regions and the alleged mistreatment of them was Russia's casus belli or reason for war.
Georgia, the state, is in the deep south, around Alabama and Florida, it's the same state from the Ray Charles song.
