I've been noticing a lot of stupid movie titles lately.

There was this old western on TV titled, "Death Rides a Horse."

:gasp: No. A horse? Really? WTF ELSE would Death ride!? A cockatiel!? Yeah, that sounds good to me. "Death Rides a Cockatiel." Very nice, good and ominous. Got a ring to it.

I lately saw a movie on the shelf titled, "Winning". I immediately checked to see if Charlie Sheen was in it. No luck.

I get bugged by things like that. Why not just add the number to the end like the rest of the films? Why change it to something stupid when everyones gunna refer to it by film number anyway. I like all those films though..just to put that out there.

More often than not the dvd artwork is more misleading and annoying than the title. You see a cool looking cover and think the film must be great but it turns out to have nothing to do with the pics on the front... that or its just plain garbage. I will never be fooled like this again after buying 'city rats' which i purchased due to the nice cover and a small caption on the front that compared it to the legendary pulp fiction. Worst film evurrrr.

I absolutely love this movie, but I hate the title. How to Train Your Dragon. It sounds like a nerdy guide that I could see some fantasy nerds making. The movie is awesome though, I just wish it had a better title.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Think we're missing a couple of words there for that to actually made sense.

I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer is a pretty stupid title for a film as well. Well, good on you for having a memory! *applause*

The Golden Compass is just shit...what was wrong with "Northern Lights"? That sounds so much less...juvenile and, considering His Dark Materials is a rather good trilogy (excluding the ending of the last book, which was painfully OOC, but I'll not go into that) it's quite annoying. Never mind how bad the film was, it could have at least had the proper title.
