Just remeber that Se wanted a whole series on Final Fantasy XIII. Yes so far they have Agito and Versus XIII but they are not sequels to FF XIII. They are just side storys. FF XIII is its own big thing. As it sold so fast and the most in the franchise in a week im sure it will have a sequel. Se is already planning it btw.

There's a possibility that they're like 'the heart of Cocoon' and as long as they're crystalized there then Cocoon won't die or whatever. They might be like the heart powering Cocoon, you know? Instead of friggin' Orphan or whatever >.>

It looks to me like, if they somehow managed to get out of the stasis and escape, Cocoon would just crash down as it was going to. It looks like they're at the center of it, and if they go, Cocoon goes with them.

Serah was holding the entire lake? I don't remember that, well I do, but I think she was just attached to a part of it if that. (Making Snow's efforts rather futile. :wacky:)

I'm also not sure on an XIII-2, they already have Versus and Agito planned, I don't think they need much more. It's the whole Fabula Nova Crystallis set, so it'll probably all fit nicely together in the end.
I was a making connection there. If Serah wasn't holding the entire Lake what makes you think V and F holding the entire world/planet of Cocoon? They're center but I doubt if they uncrystal the entire Cocoon does as well.

Agito and Versus is nothing alike XIII, just same mythology

So will they uncrystallized or not?

Serah became a part of the Lake below the Hanging Edges, fusing with the ice to become part of the lake, rather than a support for its existence. Parts can be removed.

Fang and Vanille, as Ragnarok, act as a support for Cocoon. Without them, Cocoon will fall. If they're removed, Cocoon will crash into Pulse. There may be a sequel, but I doubt Fang and Vanille are any part of it. At least uncrystallized

I said if Vanille and Fang are holding the entire fucking Cocoon so would Serah with Lake Bresha.
Not really, Vanille and Fang sacrificed themselves in order to save Cocoon and in the process, to become crystallised. There's nothing physically holding Vanille or Fang inside the crystal tower, they're just floating there, which does seem to make the theory that they're holding it up a good one.

Even if they weren't, they'd have a job of getting out of there. Also, if there were to be an XIII-2, there's no guarantee which characters will play a part.

Yeah probably, and I'm sure they can wake up. I'm not a hater so I don't like to hate. You on the other hand, hate to a level where the KKK can't even reach.

Fang and Vanille are smack bang in the middle of the support, escape is virtually impossible unless transported, which imo, will be quite a cheap trick.

FFXIII I loved, the ending was so brilliantly put together, and as Ringo said, it had a bittersweet feeling due to the loss of Vanille and Fang. Some tragedy and loss is the recipe for the perfect emotional ending, it gave that ending a perfect mix of emotions, so if they were to bring them back in FFXIII-2, it'd sort of ruin that ending for me. So as much as I love the characters, I reckon it'll be better for drama's sake that they stay part of Cocoon's support.

As for the idea of a spin off or sequel, I wouldn't mind a little something that shows what happened to NORA, but I wouldn't mind it being covered by a Novella or comic either.

Whut...? :ffs:

Nobody knows for definite (as far as I know) of what's EXACTLY going on with the ending, it's there to make you think. You're acting as though we're supposed to know the answers, when we're all just speculating theories.

Sure, it'd be nice to know, but there's also something nice in not knowing, hence, it's supposed to make you think, make people have different theories. In fact, there may not even be one sure fire answer that's correct, it could even be a combination of theories.

Back on topic. :hmmm:

It's a possibility that they could get out, but where would they incorporate this? The main part of XIII is over, it's just Versus and Agito to go. (I'm still not believing this XIII-2 stuff.)
As far as I know, Versus and Agito will be focusing more on other people, and possibly at different times. It could possibly have cameos too, but they'd have to pull something magical to explain how the hell Vanille and Fang would get out of there without destroying Cocoon in the process.

There are some things you wish would be a little different, but at the same time you'd not have it any other way. I mean, i'd love for them to come back (Even if it's not in the main XIII game) but that would just totally ruin the entire hold the ending has over you.

It's also a possibility that Versus and/or Agito will explain as well, so long as they're based after XIII, and not before or during the present.

THe people who think that Vanille and Fang if they were to be uncrystallized, the world is over, should get an IQ test. I'd be surprised if it's anything higher than 50.

It would ruin an ending, even though I want them back. Yeah that totally makes sense. :bored: And NO again, Versus and Agito is not the same, same mythology different everything else. There's not going to be a Cocoon or Pulse about it. That's why XIII-2 was discussed about. Refining that story.

I respect your theory, at least over those other people's specifically that hater who treats Vanille and Fang as black people and they are in the KKK. .

Dude, it's just an opinion. -_-

You're just pushing yours to a whole new level.

Ontopic: I'd really like if they will uncrystalised in a sequel. It will be a very big twist in the storyline, but who knows if that could happen?

The personal insults are boring and pointless, and there's no longer any need for this thread since any time someone has a different theory to yours it's automatically "wrong".

Closed.

I'm closing this. You clearly don't understand the meaning of the word discussion or the word opinion. And you CLEARLY don't understand "Do not double-post."
