The theme this week is 2010. Please remember, that while posting isn't necessary in order to count your vote, it is encouraged.

Also, please remember that you CANNOT vote for your own entry, and you will be disqualified from this SOTW, and the next two SOTWs if you do so.

I voted #2. First off, like how simple it is yet how it stands out. The saying in it is very much true, and I like the colors and effect that was done to make the banner out. So my vote goes to the second one .

Number 2, hands down.


The star caught my eye and whenever I tried looking at the other signatures I heard it screaming "Noooo, come back!" in the back of my head. :ahmed: The text is pretty awesome too, looks original and creative, which is always a definite plus for me. Love it. :ryan:

I chose #5. Although #2 was well made, looked cool and is just totally awesome, #5 is simple and I like the background effect. I like the font style and the shadow on '2010'.

I hated the text on #2.
 
My vote went to number 3

As much as I hate Glee, I think this was the best sig of them all, 2 and 5 were ok, but they didn't really appeal much to me.
 
For me, it was out of 2 and 3, though 5 is gorgeous and 4 has an amazing concept...I laughed =)

ANYWAY...

2 was really well done. The whole "so last year" thing is quite a good concept, and I really liked all the little lighting effects used. HOWEVER I think the star is a little too bright and it drew away from the 2010. It is still a very good sig =)

3 was also really well done. I love all the little sparkles and stuff. The things that kinda bugged me were the "outer glow" on the render, and the fact that the c4d was quite distracting, but not so distracting that it drew away from the actual focal. Also HAHAHA I always use that font :)

4 HAHA I loved this! At first I looked at it I was like "wtf does this have to do with 2010?" then I saw the HP...nice. I think the background looks very interesting, but theres too many things to look at. The "HP" needs to be more noticable I think... :hmmm:other than that it is still nice work

In the end I voted for 3. Congrats to all who entered =)

I'm American, so I can't really say I understand the joke fully [hardy har har, I get the highlighted part :ahmed:]. Nice attempt at humour, I suppose. :gasp:

Can't say much as there doesn't seem to be a lot that's been tampered with in terms of the stock.

The text-based signatures have really been eye-catching lately. I like the texture on this one and especially how parts of it are highlighted. Each letter is different and as my eye moves along from left to right, I can definitely appreciate how dynamic this makes the whole tag. Excellent job...whoever did this.

I love the effects and the colour scheme for this one. It's very energetic by the effects but very calm by the stock and colours. The stock blending could have been really worked on, however. But I suppose it does blend in in a different sort of way. I don't know. Something about it is appealing to me yet not appealing at the same time. :hmmm:

I like how unified the colour scheme is. That being said, I think the overlay overwhelms the stock to the point that it seems flatter than it should be to me. The effects in the background give the tag a very pleasing texture that I always like to see in signatures, so thumbs up to that.

I think the ripple effects on the borders could have been worked on a bit more because as it stands, I don't think it gives the focal justice. The effect is either too sharp or just too prominent. I will give it props in the way it frames the stock nicely though. (y)

Obviously, I'm a big texture fan. I love the texture in the background on this one and the way it fades into darkness along the edges. The lighting is spot on and highlights the text in a way that brings it more into focus. It's very shiny. Just noticed the play with the final zero and the one behind it as well. I like sigs that are more than what meets the eye. Tres bien!

Great job to all those who entered this week. Really nice tags. :ryan:
