So, mine and hubby's best friend told us about this show. I'd heard about it on TV and such, but curiosity got the better of us so both hubby and I watched a couple of episodes online. We discovered that we LOVE this show! Our best friend ended up letting us borrow his DVD boxset of Smallville, and we're currently the processes of burning the DVDs so we have our own set and watching it at the same time. :P This show is absolutely wicked. It's amazing to watch Clark grow up and gain his powers little by little and I just absolutely love the characters. I don't care much for Clohe but I do like Lana and Clark's father as well. We're still early in on the series, season 2 as a matter of fact and the show has already made me laugh and cry. So, who else here is a Smallville fan?
 
awesome another smallville fan. i've be watching this show since the second season. sadly i missed most of the first. probably my favorite thing they did ithe early seasons was the creation of the kryptonit freaks. they really made things interesting. and of course going into the relationship clark and lex have as youths. thats something that doesn't come around to often in any superman story, except maybe one or two comics.
 
Oh yes! I love seeing the relationship between Clark and Lex. I actually really REALLY like Lex A LOT in this show. I remember from the comics that they had been childhood friends or something of the sort, but not a whole lot. I'm still unsure as to how they even became enemies in the first place. I'm only in Season 2, so I know I have awhile to go, but I'm totally hooked on this show! I wanna see Clark and Lana together too.
 
well then I will hold back a little on what happens, cuz I don't want to ruin it for you. but we all have to remember, the whole series is leading to when clark becomes superman, so in the end lana will be out of clarks life. the question is "when" though.
I just can't wait for the next season though to see who else they will bring into the loop. hey maybe bruce wayne will finally make an appearance.
 
Smallville is better than that Superman show it just rocked, I believe I have 3 seasons of it, it's a great show, I watched it year ago >.>
 
love this show, Second favorite show ever (beaten by scrubs) but sadly i have only seen to the end of Season 3

Oh I know. I know he ends up with Lois, but what I'm meaning is during Clark's youth before he meets Lois, I'd like to see him and Lana together before she arrives in the picture ^_^

Yeah, next season should be interesting. I've heard that Lex and Lana aren't going to be in season 8. I wonder why?
 
they are. I believe i was just a rumor. Lana will be in only a couple though. she won' be one of the main characters though because I think this is where they will move her out of Clark's life. I'm not sure of the fate of lex, but he will be in at least the first episode of the next season, I can't say otherwise, but it would make sense, because there has to be time where lex and clark are apart before clark comes back as superman.
 
It wasn't a rumor. Michael Rosenbaum wanted out, but has decided to stay through season 8... however Kristen Kreuk also wanted out, and she is now gone... and good riddance... that CLark and Lana romance was beaten to death so many times. I'm also really happy with how she left at teh end of season 7,
with Lois walking in while Clark is watching the goodbye message she left, and being the one who comforts him
... great scene.

Anyway... I'm a big Smallville fan, too, if you couldn't have guessed. The show really takes off after graduation for the better. Season 4, while they're seniors is pretty good, too, but seasons 5-7 are really great... especially the first half of season 6, but I may be biased seeing as Olver Queen is one of my favorite comic book characters, and he's a major player in the first half of that season... which of course, means that I'm all the more excited for season 8 since he will be a recurring title character, now!

YAY!!! :D

Anyway... for all you who haven't seen past the early seasons, you're certainly in for a treat. Just remember, every season has its dumbass filler episodes, so you will not like every episode... though most are great... especially the ones that develope Lex's character throughout the seasons that lead up to
how he kills his father in season 7
... those are some of my favorites.

Well not addicted since I've only watched one episode...but I watched it twice because it was that good! :)
I love Lona's character and she's fit! Although Lois completely annoys the living shit out of me...just a little bit bitchy.

Can't really say more since it was only that episode but I very much intend to watch all the series.
 
OMG!I love Smallville been a fan since first episode Pilot. :D Chloe is my favorite character shes so intresting!And the good news is that there will be a season 8.They confirmed it. :D Just cross your fingers Chloe will be in it! xD But the guy who plays lex wont be in it his contract thing is up. =/ So it will be even more intresting now. :monster:

I used to watch this show back in high school. I don't remember where I left off before I quit watching it, but I really do miss this show. Lana is extremely beautiful! I really love the chemistry between her and Clark. I actually saw some part of the later seasons last year (I believe they were re-runs) and it had Lois in one episode...sorry, but I didn't really like her. =/ I don't know why though...

I really should finish watching all the episodes though. This show is definitely an interesting one.
 
Haha don't apologize for disliking Lois, Suki. The girl is a bitch and she's rather cruel to Clark. I really really REALLY dislike her. -__- Even though Lois is the future love interest for Clark, Clana ftw! I don't like Clois...-__- Lana is better. <3
 
Lois actually becomes a great character... but she was always kinda bitchy to Clark when they first met... as for Clana... gag... that was overdone by Season 5, and Season 6 just killed it... thank god it was put to sleep in Season 7.
 
Season * has just been freaking awesome so far.

he's making things quite interesting.
Mercy is quite an interesting character as well.same personality as lex, just a different goal.
next season I plan on seeing
the secret society of super villains
make their official appearance. but until then i get to see some of my other predictions for the show play out.
 
I freakin' love Smallville. I started watching it about 2 years ago and i flew through the first 4 seasons in like 2 weeks. I've seen every episode out to-date as I'm currently watching last weeks release online as I type this. Great series and every week it gets better. Still curious as to how many more people will find out about Clark's powers as time goes on and such.

Also, Kara needs to stick around in the series and appear more often!!
 
Wow, after the first 4 or 5 episodes of this season I have formally given up on Smallville (& really, why don't they just call it Metropolis now? the only reference to 'Smallville' now is Lois' stupid nickname for Clark)...

The cast has slowly been gutted down to the lowest common denominator and now it's become far too teeny bopper BS with a side of super heroics instead of the other way around, which initially made the series so unique. The older members of the cast were what actually gave the series any credibility, but then they were all killed off (Johnathan Kent & Lional Luthor) or just moved away from the plot (Martha Kent just sorta faded away from Smallville)...I wouldn't care that Lana's gone if not for the fact that her replacement, Lois, could act her way out of a paper bag...c'mon, I don't like to be reminded how horribly bad of a teen soap this is becoming every time you open your stupid mouth.

I used to like Chloe as the reporter sidekick childhood friend who was in love with Clark...and then they gave her powers (yeah, fall back on Meteor powers AGAIN, that never gets old)...and then they gave her a stupid love interest (Jimmy Olsan is almost interesting...oh wait, he always sucks? I almost forgot)...and then they gave her different powers...and then they gave her an even stupider love interest...

Oh, and an otherwise normally cool character is rendered stupid: Green Arrow. He's such a boring douche in the show...I'd rather they concentrate on that Flash kid or even the stupid Cyborg (please stay away from Aquaman)...Black Canary pisses me off too with that stupid looking haute couture painted non-mask...Oh well, I suppose it could have been worse...oh, wait, it HAS been worse *remembers the stupid Birds of Prey show & shudders*...V_V
