Please keep your graphics to one thread please as it keeps the section tidier.

Also, the Clanhouse is not for C&C. :) Thankyou.

Okay Just downloaded GIMP, haven;t got any brushes or anything and still getting to grips with it, i have a few people working on a sig and an avatar for me, but i thought i would give it a go myself so here it is

Well for starters, I'd stop using Photobucket as it's a horrible image hosting site and I can't see your upload.

tinypic and imgur are better alternatives.

I would use Photoshop and not Gimp where possible. I hated Gimp though it was easier to cut out images I think. I think it's a good start <3. I would just try blending it together. Maybe make the text on soft light or give it a border. But overall I think it's a very good start =d Follow a few tutorials and you'll be there in no time. As far as brushes go, I don't use them anymore so I'd ask someone else about what would be best. Especially on Gimp. But well done so far (y) The Mase approves (y)

You can get a bunch of brushes from qbrushes.com!

If you can, try and find the glow brushes, some vector brushes and anything else. Another quick tip that I haven't learned until later is to try manipulating the different layers and experimenting to see what awesome effects you can create! It works wonders! ^_^

I think your Aqua sig should be sized a little differently and maybe work on placement of the image as there is alot of dead space. The positioning of the glow/light is pretty off also....I like the background you chose! But I suggest you try and figure out how to operate GIMP because I find it's alot tougher to use than photoshop. I have both but have yet to master using each! Both programs are very similar though. GIMP is alot more complicated. If you ever get the chance, try and get photoshop. If not I suggest keep using GIMP!

Then again Practice makes perfect! I like how your starting off! xD Try experimenting though. Practice will always make perfect!

Something abit different here, i'm working on a wallpaper for my desktop, this is where i am up to and so far in my opinion it looks decent, but i no more detail could be added but i dont know what to add :hmmm: help me please!

I really like that image of Sora and how the glow brushes and background coexist. Maybe you could add an image in the background of Sora or something and change the opacity so that it fades into the blue background theme. I also suggest maybe darkening the image of sora or adjusting the volumes of color so that he doesn't seem as paper ish....Maybe instead of background idea, add Kairi and Riku too? I dunno. Really liking the blue though
