Sephiroth vs. Superman

random fact here... but the guy who voices Sephiroth in Advent Children is the voice actor for Superman on the new Justice League series XD
and Sephiroth would so totally win... his sheer sexiness would blow superman away. XD

A forum full of Superman fanboys that know nothing about Sephiroth.

In a fight between them, Seph would use his J-cells to become intangible and Superman wouldn't be capable of doing anything against a "ghost" Sephiroth.
Then Seph would cover the sky with Tainted Lifestream, and would attack Super with it. Super's body and soul would be obliterated. The End.

Wrong! It's a forum where you actually have to prove that your favorite character can beat another character. And they don't accept posts like, "Sephiroth can beat Superman cuz he's awesome!!!!".

Did you read their posts? All of them belive he is just a good swordsman that can fly. They ignore the fact he can become intangible, shapeshift, create illusions, use very powerful magic, controll the Tainted Lifestream, etc. They ignore most of his powers!

I repeat, it's a forum full of people that know nothing about Sephiroth.
 
Well if SM is vulnerable to magic, then theres no competition. Like you said DB, a quick Death would just be another nail in SM's coffin.
 
I cannot see superman ever winning a battle against Sephiroth, he's just too strong! I don't think superman would ever to be able to obtain enough strength or power to match sephiroth, he's like a god compared to superman
 
Sephiroth would easily win. Superman is just well....he always gets kicked around and somehow wins by luck but there isn't any of that with sephiroth.

Will Sephy get a chane to use his Magic? Like fuck he will, becuse Superman is WAAAAYYY Faster.

Is Post-Crisis Supes that weak to Magic? It varies due his writers.

Yeah, you are right. To have a chance against Superman, Sephiroth have to become intangible. But he don't have the time to do that. He lose.

Superman can fly 10x the speed of light right? At least in space, if i remember well.

And just a curiosity, Kitase said in an interview that SE will never create a character in FFVII universe, more powerful than Sephiroth. And considering the fact he can use the Tainted Lifestream to boost his abilities(Like happened with Weiss/Omega), it means he have the same level of super-speed of Omega Weiss and Chaos Vincent(they are so fast that they can disappear). If you watched the FMV in the begin of their fight, you know what i'm talking about.
Superman is faster of course, but i'm just showing that Sephiroth can be pretty fast too.

OBS:But the result of this "Sephiroth vs Superman" battle, don't change the fact that people in CBR know almost nothing about Sephiroth, and allways ignore his powers.

Well it's more of a Vent thread than anything becuase, for what is worth, Sephy gets overhyped too much. On the grand scale of characters.......Sephy is not even that powerful. Even at his highest he can still be beaten by a lot of people. Some who aren't even cosmics.


For example his final form, let's say he's fighting...........Green Lanterns Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner and Guy Gardner. If he goes intalgenible he still can be hurt. Why? GLs have hurt intalgenible characters before. Supernova? GLs have contained Supernovas. Hal and Kyle can just fly up and nuke the planet he's on from space or throw planets at him.


Lifestream? Jack shit compared to say the power cosmic Galactus or his hearalds weild.

Hell Dr. Doom can take over the Final Fantasy worlds in the span of a week with the right amout of prep, due to the fact he fought and won against cosmics(Jacked their powers) screwed over the devil and has took over the world three times. And gave it back out of sheer bordem.


As I said to the rest of the multiverse. Sephy is basically shit.
 
I disagree about the part of Sephiroth being overhyped. It's the contrary. He was overhyped so much in the past, by so many retarded fanboys("HE HAVE A BIG SWORD, HE PWNS!!!111one"), that people begun to hate him. And today, the number of Sephiroth haters is greater than his number of fans. This is what i belive, after talking with many people in diferent forums.

And this is what i'm talking about. By saying this, you are saying that anyone in the multiverse can defeat him. Just because many people can win of him, you are saying he is "shit". This is what we call "underrating" and "underestimating".
He can lose to many characters, but he can win of many others. Like Superman. They aren't invincible. No one is(with exception of supreme gods like the Presence, TOAA and L-Sama). But that don't make Superman and Sephiroth "shit".

And Sephiroth have super-strenght(can cut buildings), can use his chi/ki to attack(in BC), have a body made of J-cells that don't need to eat or breathe or sleep, can fly, become intangible, create illusions, have probably all magic in FFVII universe because of his control over the Tainted Lifestream, super-speed(so fast that can disappear), telekinesis, can create life(the Shadow Creepers in AC for example), the most powerfull will in FF series, etc.
Hell, Nero's darkness(the "X-Zone" thing) is because of his Stagnant Lifestream. But Seph have control over it, so who said that he can't simply send his enemies to "another dimension" like Nero did?

The fact is, Sephiroth is insanelly powerful(if i remember well, SE said in the Reunion Files that he is a god in AC). But people hate him because of his fangirls/boys, and bash and underestimate him(like in CBR forum).

Sephiroth have so many diferent abilities, that he would give trouble to Superman, if he didn't have the advantage in speed. Neither of them are shit.
