does anyone else think that sephiroth is awesome, the ultimate badass, and should have crushed and DESTROYED cloud and ruled the planet? consider all of the things sephiroth was in like advent children, crisis core, etc...
 
I was never all that impressed with Sephiroth, tbh. I've only played the original game and I've seen Advent Children so I can't say much about his character in the rest of the compilation. I found his character to be rather boring though. I thought Kuja and Kefka had way more personality.
 
Original Sephiroth is best. And he is one of the best villians ever. :ryan: Killing a praying women just to spite a man... ebil, I say. Pure ebil.
 
sephiroth best/coolest and most badass villian?

does anyone else think that sephiroth is THE BEST villian ever? does anyone else think that the music from ff7,( particularly sephiroth's music) is the best music in the entire ff series? I know that is a bit bold to say considering I've only played ff7, ff10, crisis core, ff12, and ff disidia, but I'm pretty sure I've heard every version of sephiroth's one-winged angel,( courtesey of safersephiroth.com) and I think it sounds pretty damn good and badass. does anyone think differently?

no. youre right.

sephiroth is the best. he definitely has the biggest cumsack in the universe and could obviously beat 12 shades of shit out of cloud. he chose to let him win for entertainment purposes.

I do think Sephiroth is a great villian. Like I say always, anyone who would kill a praying woman just to spite another man has got to be ebil.
 
No. No I do not. considering that he isn't really THE villian. Yes, he is the last boss, but he is really only a villian because of Hojo and Jenova.

Kefka is WAY better. He posioned an entire civilation (Doma castle is it's own civilization, no matter how small.), He took over the world, he took control of an army to get himself further but didn't care when he was the only one left, destroyed and took control of almost EVER Esper, and not to mention he makes fun of people or makes crazy jokes while doing most of it.

He not only took of the world, but he rearranged it.

What has Sephiroth done that even compares? xP

Simply haters, gonna hate. I believe Nomura did say he was a lady's man.

I do think/know Sephiroth is the best Villian in FFdom or even all of gaming, he was certainly the one villian from FF I could take seriously.

I mean he wasn't ever goofy like Kefka, I mean I like Kefka but I can't take the dude seriously as a Villian.

Actually he's a villain because of himself, he's just strong because of the experiments that made him. Anyway who cares how he got there he's still kick-ass.

If you can be Sexy, Evil and Kick-ass at the same time there props in it for you :griin:
 
I prefer Kefka personally..HIs personality was just epic win, but Sepheroth is more famous then Kefka and all the other villans in sqaure history..


Whether we like it or not when you think of final fantasy the first villan that is going to come into most peoples minds is Sepheroth.. He's a global success.

I think sephiroth is the best villain in final fantasy history.
From the cold yet warm grin to the emotionless eyes sephiroth is just the definition of evil.
If looks could kill cloud would be deep fried and buried in the ground after first meeting sephiroth.

what has done sephiroth to even compare?! he almost absorbed an entire planet, he practically ended a war single-handedley, he can fly, his sword can cut through almost ANYTHING, he almost used an entire planet as a vessel to sail the cosmos, he does not look like a CLOWN, he summoned a HUGE meteor that would have made any planet EXTINCT from all other species, he can bring down buildings with his mind, and he is pretty much INVINCIBLE! he would DESTROY kefka and make him look like the clown he really is.
 
I agree with you 100% sephiroth24.
Sephy is one of those villains that are born once a melinum.
He has not only the power skills and sheer will to beat any obstacles in his way (cloud was a fluke) He's also pretty Hot ^^
 
Iirc, Sephiroth was never actually successful in any of his nefarious plans because he was always defeated by Cloud. Kefka actually succeeded in world destruction and became a God of Magic. I think Kefka has Sephiroth beat as far as accomplishments go. :hmmm:

Almost.... practically.... almost..... almost...... would have.... pretty much.....

Kefka succeeded in killing an entire city, rearranging the geography of an entire planet, and holding the populace of an entire world under his thrall, living in complete fear of his retribution for any perceived misdeeds through his Light of Judgment.

Kuja, on the other hand, won a war, levelled a city, and annihilated a planet, on top of controlling some of the most powerful eidolons.

Success > Not Success.

Sephiroth is my most ~beloved FF villian...but Kefka became a god whereas Sephiroth didnt(and in Dissidia Kefka is pretty badass IMO) Besides all the charecters in VI look a lil..hmm non the norm even for vidio games
ANd a lil Trivia Both Kefka and Sephiroth share the same attacks in the final Battle havock wing and heartless angel, they both sprout dark wings and In the gold saucer in FFVII In Ghost Square you can hear a lower, slowed down version of Kefka's signature laugh if you inspect a "face" in the corner of the item shop

I cannot take kefka seriously. when I saw him in ff disidea, I laughed a little and thought, you can't be serious. I actually have to fight this CLOWN? you must be joking.

kefkas laugh pwns! i always have this bigass cheesy grin on my face when he pops up in ff6.

Sephiroth is good, because he's different from the other villians....well, sort of. he has nothing to do with the ingame politics, he just went AWOL and off'd his minions.

What ticks me off though is that he's "invincible". the dragon battle in the flashback in kalm. dragon flames him and it's 0 dmg. flames cloud/zack or whoever he is and he's 1-hitted.

i mean, c'mon! even kefka gets hurt in his world by normal means!

not to mention Seph always comes back >.>

You realy should play the game though,VI,ive started it but not technically played it fully yet, But it is an awesome game its set in a "different " setting hence Kefka's cloths and at higher levels in Dissidia He can wipe people out ubber fast~and quite frankly whats not scary about a clown?

Well I dont think it was because he was invincible I think it was do to him being at such a massively higher level than whatever your "cloud" was no matter how highly leveld you where pluss it was made for "cloud" to fail...Or Sephiroths neato coat was dragon breath retardent:D

Because he can manipulate Jenova cells so he can eternally return as long as there are Jenova cells active
 
Sephiroth is one of the worst villains in the FF series, in my opinion. About the only good thing about him is his theme song. The only reason he's so overpowered is because he's got a massive fanbase. His in-game strength isn't anything particularly special.

As other people have said, Kefka is better. Sephiroth is too busy preening to accomplish anything of significance. He's all talk and nothing else >.>
