Sephiroth (KH1) or Sephiroth (KH2)?

All the bosses in KH2 were a lot easier than those from KH1 and this doesn't change with Sephiroth. Reaction commands might have made it a little easier but there's really only one in the Sephiroth fight and it's to avoid a almost-for-sure-death attack.

But I would have to say that the KH2 one was more fun to fight. The slightly modified controls (gliding, air jump, quick run) made a little more of strategy.

I personally think that the Kingdom Hearts I Sephiroth is much much harder then the one in II. It took me probably 5 times to finally beat the one in I,but the one in II it took me like 2 times. Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts I uses Sin Harvest which is horrible. The Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts II uses Heartless Angel which is about the same, although you can knock in out of it. So that makes it much much easier and you don't have to worry about it reducing your HP and MP to 1 since well he can be knocked out of it. ;p

you also have to realize that sora actually has much more experiance now than he did in 1. So that's why they made thing's easier in 2. But in 1, there were so many way's for Seph to royally screw you over, it's not even funny. But in 2, Sora has special skill's that can allow him to get to sephiroth before he does that kill you instantly move, you can actually send attack's back at him, and you can dodge thing's a lot easier.

KH1 Sephy was a lot harder for me, since you can't rely on fancy reaction commands, extended combos and an auto-regen mp bar.
Though MP Rage (especially x2) makes that a lot easier to Cure/Aero spam, since every hit pretty much gives you an MP back when you're low on it.

KH2 Sephy is quite easier, but it's still tense. It might be easier to go for a no-damage run on the hardest difficulty, but being prepared-incorrectly could still doom you if you're not careful.

I honestly wish that the normal KH2 had more secret bosses without having to import Final Mix+...

KH1 Sephiroth for me. That game's version of "One Winged Angel" sounds better for me (I can tell the difference :D). Not to mention his voice in KH1 sounds better to me.

You could fight him as many times as you want, and with 18,000 EXP given each time, you were guaranteed a level up. KH2 was hard too, but I only beat him once. It didn't bring much enthusiasm in me.

the one in kh1 is tougher than the kh2 one because in kh1 you had to hit him like 20 times before you could damage him and the stage was smaller

KH1 Sephiroth WAS SO HARD. :gonk: I could never beat him, not even now. But the KH2 one I've beaten a bunch of times.

After beating Phantom with relative ease I found Kurt Zisa to be quite challenging, then when I faced Sephiroth he wasn't actually that bad I beat him my second go after just losing my first. I found sephiroth in KH22 much harder though I think that may be on account of much preferring the original battle system.

I've heard that the Sephiroth in KH1 was much harder than the Sephiroth in KH2 but I've never played KH1 so what do you think?

I have only ever beat KHII Sephiroth so he must be the easier of the two still very difficult Sephy's.

KHI's Sephiroth scares the crap outta me with that slow movement and that damn meteor thing!...so hard to avoid!

I personally thought he was harder in KH 1. I had to be max level and had to have megalixers on hand just to defeat him.

I also preferred his appearance in KH 1 to KH 2. You know, where he just shows up at the tournament? I didn't like him having a huge role in KH2. He just didn't seem as cool.

I agree that he was harder in 1, I found him... not easy, but doable on KHII. Then again I find KHII easier than I for some reason.
I don't think his role was that major in II though, he was basically just looking for Cloud, you beat him, find Cloud and they both go back to... wherever. XD

I prefer the fight in KHII definitley though, I think I prefer that the battle area is wider too, I hated how small that arena was. -__-

kh1 sephy was in my opinion harder that it felt like you accomplished something epic.
kh2 sephy was too easy. 1st time on proud mode, i won. its just no comparison >_<

I've fought both a really long time ago, so as far as I can remember, the KH1 Sephiroth was a tiny bit more challenging than the KH2 Sephiroth, but the one in KH2 was a lot more interesting to fight; plus he has a better voice actor, so hardest to beat = KH1 Sephiroth. Most awesome = KH2 Sephiroth.

I'd say KH1 Sephie was a bit harder, though when he did his Heartless Angel attack you just had to throw your keyblade at him to shut him up. That and you had to glide a lot.

KH2 Sephie was so much more fun, I keep two save files, one where I'm at lvl 44 and the other 99 so I can fight him for a challenge or to just kick his butt.

Both were okay, in my opinion, but I had synthesized loads to get my stats to the max before beating him, in both...
Managed to beat him in KH2 second play through without resorting to that. Never managed the times I'd tried in KH1.

So I'd have to say he was easier in KH2.

But still, if you struggle in either, hunt some heartless and synthesize some stat boosters, and you'll be sorted1 =)

In KH1, sephy was a hard boss to fight and win at even if you were lv 99 and had epic stats and the ultima weapon. I fought him and got powned several times mostly because i was just absorbed in how graphic his sin harvest attack was, i was so intrigued by it i was just like damn, and i die lol.

In KH2, when i first fought him, i was like really, he was weak compared to him in KH1, i can see how the fight was more enjoyable because you lasted longer, but in my opinion wasn't as entertaining.

Yeah the one from Kh1 was 100% tougher than the one in 2, dont ge tme wrong both are hard in their own way, but in 2 his strategy was easier to figure out, and alot of the new moves sora could do in the game made it real easy. In 1 he put more of a fight, it was harder to dodge most attacks, i personaly think his stats where higher in kh1, and the moves he did really had more of impact overall.
