Why do you suppose Seifer was never sent back in the dream sequences?

Or maybe he was and it was just never mentioned? It seems odd that she'd send all the others back and not him, i mean, the only one she had the real conection to anyway, would be Squall, theothers iimagine would have all just been the same as far as agroup of kids at the orphanage were concerned regardless of who they were and how they turned out

Surely Ellone wouldnt of known he sided with the sorceress straight away....? The party doesn't discover this themselves til they have already had a dream sequence or 2, so why do you suppose she never sent him back?

I spell failed the title, can someone fix it pleASE :rage:

Maybe it's because seifer (spoiler) wasnt in their orphanage. They were all orphans and I don't remember seifer being an orphan....If I'm wrong then maybe Ellone hates Seifer for rivaling w/Squall. I dunno.....It's a mystery

He was defo in the orphanage, i know that for sure
Edit* random thought

do you suppose she knew about his 'romantic dream'? she may have known enough about the future and that garden was initially built to beat the sorceress so sending seifer back jsut wasntin her or anyone elses best interests :hmmm:

I fixed the title for you, Kelly. :lew: And honestly, I have no clue at all why Seifer wasn't in the dream sequences...I think maybe perhaps it has something to do with
Laguna being Squall's father? So naturally more of a connection there as well?
Blah, I'm probably making no sense. :wacky: I've not played this game in awhile. I think it was probably just more of a connection to Squall. Maybe Seifer wasn't as attached to Ellone as the others? I can't remember for sure. Seifer was definitely in the orphanage though.

Maybe she needed to establish a connection with them all except Seifer and just happen to have a deeper connection with Squall, or Ellone just didn't want to send Seifer back. Then again, maybe it just didn't cross Square's minds at all that he could of been sent back in time too. 8F

@Oliver, Seifer was in the orphanage.

Or because Seifer was a massive prick and I think everyone else had their own little group that they hung around as kids in the orphanage.

I think it may be because of both Seifer's romantic dream, his general attitude and also the fact he wasn't a SeeD. perhaps she felt he wouldn't be strong enough when sent back, like Squall and co would be? Especially with Seifer's personality traits, he wouldn't really fit the character roles.

Laguna and Squall and related and, considering how frequently Zell and Ward are paired up it's safe to assume that it was down to similar personality traits with their comrades (wanting to be there, fighting with them etc)

Least that's how I see it.

If i recall correctly she only sent back 3 people at a time. Squall was always one of them. She sent Squall back because she wanted to show him the past. About laguna and Raine. Her connection with Squall was much stronger than it was with the others so she always sent him back.
Showing Seifer the past was of no importance as he already knew he where he came from and he had no connection to Laguna or Raine whatsoever so Elone had nothing to show him. The dreams were specifically for Squall and showing him the past. It wasnt really aimed at anyone else i dont think.

EDIT

I think aswell she wanted Squall to know what his father did in the years he was growing up and what kinda man he was. All the dreams were about Laguna so showing seifer had no relevance.

Maybe Seifer came into the orphanage, after Ellone went into the hiding with the White SeeD ?

We never see Ellone in the Orphanage flashbacks ( Don't think ), so maybe Ellone never Seifer, or grew up with Seifer with the rest of the Orphanage group. She had a main connection with Squall because they are almost like Step- Siblings, in a strange way..

BUT always found it really suspicious how Seifer doesn't remember who Edea really is, and then after the orphanage flashback suddenly Seifer knows and he is ready for war..

The real question is, why was Rinoa in the dream sequences? I know for a fact that she wasn't an orphan and I doubt Ellone knew who she was!

Oh and WHERE THE HELL DOES IT SAY THAT LAGUNA IS SQUALL'S FATHER?! I've played this game like eight times and I never got that from the game whatsoever! Meh...I've made it my mission to find out the truth!

it doesnt sayhes his dad, its implied more thanonce, id say it was fairly obvious, especially when aboard theragnarok, theres a topicon thisalready, go have a scan, save meexplainingxD

also, with rinoa, thats explained in thegame as well dude, do youpay atention when you play, its part ofthe mainstory 8F

i supposekaicouldhave a point...maybe he DID join theorphanage after she left :hmmm:

I think it's very possible that Seifer had those dream sequences along with Squall and co. However, while it's possible that we as the gamers simply didn't see them, I think that he likely didn't have them in the first place.

Although Ellone was restricted with people she knew that she could send into the past, she could still pick and choose among who she knew. So she probably realized showing past events to the Sorceress' Knight wasn't a smart thing to do xD

Then again, all she really wanted to do was
make Laguna stay with Raine in the vain hope Raine would still be alive and Squall would be with both his parents
:hmmm:
