Scariest bad guy?

Lezard Valeth. He is absolutely terrifying. Not for his appearance, but for the drastic change he undergoes through the game...his laugh is the freakiest thing I've ever heard...not to mention his Soul Crush, which absolutely annihilated me the first time I came up against it...

Baal in Disgaea is pretty scary, as well...level 4000...

Hooray, someone I can cry to about this! :cry: :hug:Giygas is awful. If just his pic scares you, then you won't want to listen to the music as you're battling him. I love Earthbound but I can't play the battle with him at night, it's got that stupid freaky staticky shit in it that sounds like some ghost calling you on the f***ing phone or something :gonk: And then it's got a little piece that's "innocent and childlike" just to give you a false sense of security, and then it goes into the f***ing freaky shit again :rage: If anyone is curious here's the link to it, but I warn everyone it's got an even freakier picture than the one Zell's Hotdog has already posted:

I absolutely HATE this battle, the only reason I go through with it is that i need him to die and go away for the sake of my sanity :mokken:

Dark Lich (Thanatos) from Secret of Mana. It doesn't show it in the picture but there's a mode he goes into where he disappears and then his hands come up through the floor, it's really gross 8( He sucks too, he's a **** all throughout the story as a "human" and then right before he turns into this he does something really horrible. I always just stand as far away from him as possible when I have to fight him and spam light attacks :stressedpanda:
 
Hell raiser dude, back in the days it scared the shit out of me...I remember one scene where a zombie woman lost her ear in her vanille pudding, since that day I had issues when eating vanille pudding......

Giygas is freaking creepy. It took me a week to get over my fear of him so after that I dared myself to watch him in his flashing fetus form with the music up pretty high all alone in the middle of the night.

As much as I hate Giygas, I kinda feel bad for him/her/it because all it really wanted was a friend...

I didn't find Dark Lich in Secret of Mana to be scary at all.
I used to be afraid of all the slightly more reallistic ghosts in Luigi's Mansion a LONG time ago.

Sorry for bumping this...but I found the scariest boss of all time.

I think the entire game is just a boss. The game is Polybius.
It was only available for arcades for a month because it gave people thoughts of suicide, made them go insane, gave them amnesia ect. I don't know if it's the music, backgrounds, or what...but it just gave me very disturbing thoughts. I watched it an hour ago and I still have headaches. Go to YouTube if you want to see it, because I really don't feel like going back. Take my advice and don't watch it though.

EDIT: And the developer's name is "Sense Deletion". Weird, huh?
 
Hrm...Well after reading about it, that does kind of sound a bit like an urban legend, but I can see how it would be scary to start playing a game and then have those kinds of screens pop up and suddenly get an epileptic seizure from it :gonk: It's funny, it kind of proves the idea that "the less we know the more afraid we are"--something with no story and very unusual nonsensical graphics is freakier than a lot of the well-drawn villains they have in PS3/X360-level games :hmmm:

Perhaps that's what's so creepy about Giygas--his amorphism :sad2:
