Santa as a bad influence

:ffs:

This is just people looking too deeply into things. You can do it with anything and with some twisted thinking, everything is a bad influence.

Let the kids have their Easter Bunnies, Santas and Tooth Fairies, and stop being such a bunch of over sensitive knobs. :ffs: Lighten up! :lew:

He is setting a bad example. Whether or not he is fictional is irrelevant. Almost everybody on TV is a fictional character yet they're not allowed to go around murdering black people etc etc.

On the subject of Santa, we are so PC these days. Wouldn't be surprised if they try and turn Santa into a Size 6 model who enjoys being a vegetation.. >> and runs around the world instead of using a Sleigh
Perhaps it's the silent majority, whoever they are, they are responsible for Jeremy Clarkson's career, which makes me sound like some guardian reading idiot. I think it's the middle classes who vote for whichever centrist party takes their fancy. They think they're doing people a favour, "Ohh Muslims don't celebrate Xmas, let's call it winterville or indeed Festivus". There are very few people who have problems with the term Christmas, it's just an excuse for lazy journalism.

The people that pointed this out aren't evil anti-xmas Mengeles. They're just trying to have healthier role models. Children won't start disliking xmas because Santa isn't obese.

I think the biggest question is this:-

why the F would there be university students sitting around and deciding to try and work out some stupid obscure facts about how drunk 'santa claus' is just so they have reasons to complain about him?

borrowing some much needed wisdom from frankie boyle:-

student 1:- so guys shall we work on that cancer research?
student 2:- No, lets try and figure out how many calories Santa would eat in one night

.....

IF santa was real I could kind of see the point in this research, but instead these people are just perpetuating the problem that the world seems to be having at the moment with over PC-ness (if that's even a word)

Seriously, they should go back to doing something worth while

This is still going on? I heard about this years ago and thought people forgot about it later that day. Who the hell is going to have a Santa poster on their walls and think, 'that'll be me one day'?
A joke indeed.
