Well, that can't be done unless you can convince the creator to make it a option. Anyways, after you win, you get money and sometimes items, so there isn't a big need for it.

Well, that's the way it's been in the FF games, right? For those super greedy people. :P

I don't really mind if we have it or not, just thought it would be a neat addition. I could understand that it might take a lot of time to add it on though, so.
 
I'd personally like the RPG to have a view of the whole party at all times, so you're always aware which enemies you have left, how much HP they all have and when your party members need potions.

Totally agreed here. It would also be nice to have a number indicator of how much HP/MP you have along with the colored bars, though I guess I can just right click on it and check it's Properties to get the numbers...

This is all just picky stuff, though.
 
Just a little note here - You can add your own stuff to it (if you can find people who can), You just can't distribute any of *our* code, but you can make your own additions, and do what you like with those, no copyright issues there =)

Ahhhem. On a different note, Yes, I've seen that done at a few places.

One guy I remember changed his to resemble a armored core game, did a decent job.

Assuming we add that, why does it reminds me so much of Radiata Stories?

Also what would be the difference between a warrior and an assassin in this RPG? If you can come up with a good idea I guess we could do something.
 
The assassins guild could be kept secret and members could pm you to tell you that they want to be in it and maybe you could pm back a list of the other members so that the assassins know who each other are, the members would also be in the warriors and mages guild to infiltrate and hide away their secret. An assassins stats could be very strong magic or very strong attack power, something that goes for the kill fast.

Some kind of test would be needed to make sure warriors and mages didnt infiltrate the assassins guild, maybe candidates that are worthy assassins could be approached on the sly.

With huge attacks, little defence and the element of stealth, this could be the difference that sets it apart from the warriors guild.
 
I figured out a way to create closed areas in the RPG. In other words areas only certain people can visit. There could be a secret item that would only be given to members of the Assassin Guild, that they would need to access the area. This item would be given through the RPG ACP only, by us RPG Directors. There would be no way to get the item through the game. This way we can control who enters. But in order to get this item, there would be a test given by the leader.

The item would not do anything other than grant you access to the area. The item would be taken by the NPC. Anybody who gives this item, to other players, will be kicked out the group and another item would need to be made. Plus a new area would need to be made.

That sounds great, maybe the assassins could have a council and the council decides who should be approached to be welcomed as a member.
 
I like this idea. Sounds interesting. If i had a choice, i would be an assassin. How about having a thread that only members will be able to see. (Kinda like how Survivor people cant see anything out of the survivor area, so maybe regular members cant see the Assassins Guild Thread unless there members... if that makes any sense)
 
You would have to take that one up with the administrators. They are the only who can setup areas. But for now, it would be best to have the private stuff with the club done in PMs.

You could also have meetings in the place's sb too.
 
Ya so who will be the leader? Will it be Alpha or an RPG MOD or me? or will we have to decide this over PMs? And call the area "Assassin's Bureau"
 
Why don't you all just pick one or the other? Or, just... Not join either? There is really nothing that distinguishes an Assassin from any other class. Later on, your points are gonna branch out, and you won't fit what you described as an assassin.
Sounds like you're throwing on a third wheel onto the the RPG just so you can feel special. =\
 
Well i think adding this other class would be quite interesting and then there wouldnt be some many Warriors in the Warriors guild and then there could actually be class battles. Seeing as theres like 20 warriors and 2 mages. Itll cut down the numbers. Plus who doesnt like being sneaky ^^

I still see no point in that, though... It's not like you all would make any profit, or get any sort of recognition if you were a 'secret' group. Kinda pointless to go through all that trouble imo.

People should just stick to clans, not guilds... That's more intresting, there's missions, that Clan Wars game... Also the mages are more of a key than just a minority, and there's far more cooperation and structure.
 
@ LK. Well for one if you read the previous posts, there would be a secret area for them. and 2, everyone has there opinions. Maybe some people perfer stealth over face to face. There isnt much problem.

EDIT: @ Koloth. I guess... But assassins sound so much cooler ^^
