Stealth IS cowardice, because you have to attack your problem without facing it... Plus, there is no stealth in this game, you practically have to yell at someone to fight them.

Again, the secret area would accomplish nothing. And if there were some sort of shops or magic/attack style training npc in there or something, it would be an unfair advantage over the other players.
 
Geez you are quite the party pooper. Fine dont join. I dont see why not to have the extra Guild so im all for the adding of it. If you dont like Guilds LK, stay away from them. Dont start complaining about it. Anyways Koloth should we make another thread about this?
 
LK, Warriors and Mages are getting secret areas. Most of the players will probably be Warriors. Which will be a not so private location. Right now there are only a hand full of Mages. So that will be a private little location. So will that give Mages an unfair advantage? no

Mages will not be able to Warrior's area and Warriors will not be able to go to Mage's area. If the Assassins start, they will probably splinter from the Warrior camp when the Warriors advance. So they will no longer have access to Warrior areas later in the game.

Assassin stuff will probably be more SPD oriented. They will also have a lot of spells that will lower opponent's DEX and EVA. They may even have some stuff to lower magic and null spells. Which Mages and Warriors will not get.

It's wasted time and energy =/ Building that new, empty area for nothing is time not spent working on the game...
And I'm not against guilds when they have meaning or use. But building one off steath when there's no way to force someone into battle... Kinda pointless, eh? I'd be all for it if you could just attack people... But the rpg has limits. It won't happen =/ This guild is a pointless diversion.

And the area gives no sort of advantage, right? Then it's useless. If it did, it would be unfair. =/ The time spent on these areas would be wasted...
 
Well, I know some secret info. So don't throw water on something unless you know the whole picture, LK.

This still looks like a big chunk of time that isn't spent on advancing the plot so we can all start leveling again, and developing our characters. There's little point in this...
 
It won't interfere with the progress of the plot. You can blame our last setback on asshat. Blame him.

We need to do shops anyway. The shops will just be split up according to allignment. Which will be similar to 2.4. The difference is that it started later in the game.

I prefer assassins to ninjas and although I would like to be leader I feel that there are stronger and more suitable candidates for the job. And the leader shouldnt be discussed in an open thread, the identity should be kept secret.

And i guess we can leave it to Koloth to PM the leader of the Assassins guild. Guess the guild would consist of PM's.... since cant really be sneaky with the open thread for people to see.
 
Hey the Enchantments should be fixed... I couldn't think of a place to post this so I did it here.

My swords enchantments are screwy. It doesn't cast Berserk on my character unless he has berserk on him already. Same with Imbune and it never casts flare. I want this to be fixed because I can't get anywhere without enchantments.
 
Nevermind... it worked it's just that the games aggro hates me. I just casted imbune and i'm guessing that was about 1/750 hits.
 
You only have a 5 percent chance of casting Flare. The rest are, I believe 25 percent. Now that is a 25 percent change every time you attack. A little hint, the more items, you have equipped, with the enchantment, will increase the amount of times the spell casts. At least, I have noticed that helps.
 
Just to point out... I know it probably doesn't matter but I don't know how serious you are about perfecting the RPG... but my potions glitched. It matters not at all but just to tell you.

yes i have 2 seperate sticky inchors. I didnt find it to be a big deal so i didnt bring it up. I just figured you changed the settings around with some of them because of Gabranth creating the powerful weapon outta them. Or something...

Also, can you add enchantments to weapons and armour you buy from stores (ex. The Quarks Helm)
