Countless planets had been suffering under his wrath.

The New Jedi Order had taken note of it, surely?

Only known as Kaela, the young Sith warrior had led her master's army of Empire remnants to begin the march against democracy. She watched as the people ran for their lives screaming for mercy. It was a beautiful sight. Kaela stood on top of the hill, her brown hair swaying in the air. The general, who was to report to her when it was deemed necessary, approached her.

"We are ready to leave," he said.

"Are our primary objectives complete?" she asked in a cold, but emotionless tone.

"Yes, but will Lord Corzaneous be pleased?"

"My master is only pleased with succession. Failure will not go unpunished. But he should be pleased with this. General, gather the remaining forces that survived and take them back to base. I will follow you shortly."

Being the second in command of the army granted Kaela so much power. She was beginning to see her master's vision of democracy's destruction. She did not know what would happen afterwards, but decided not to question it. After all, she was only a lowly apprentice. It did not stop the questions in her mind, but she would cloud them for now. After all, Corzaneous did not like her free will too much.

Kaela walked to her private ship and stood at the platform that showed the hologram of her master, Darth Corzaneous. She bowed her head immediately to show him the respect he deserved.

"It is done, master."

"Excellent. You have done well, my apprentice. The New Jedi Order will surely have their feathers ruffled after all the hard work you have been putting in lately. You deserve all the praise you get, Kaela."

"The praise is directed to you, Lord Corzaneous. After all, if you had not found me ten years ago ... I would not have realised such true power existed."

"Report back to the base, my humble apprentice. I have some news that you may find ... interesting."

Kaela would've asked what it was, but the hologram switchd itself off. She felt disappointed, having to wait to see what was going on. Perhaps he had captured a Jedi from the Order? That would've been interesting indeed, to face the enemy in the eyes.

"To the base," she said to the pilot before sitting down.

The ship took off from the planet and zoomed off into the sky.

*Voooom, vooom*

The twin blue and red lightsaber twirled in artistic circles, bouncing off beams from blasters. Spartacus closed into the group with a run, scattering the vagrants. However, she continued forward after the one dead ahead, deflecting the shots fired at her before in one sweeping move, took off everything but the grip of his blaster. For a second. the pirate squeezed the useless trigger before she force pushed the man at point blank into the wall behind, dropping him into unconsciousness. By then, the remaining pirates formed into a loose line behind her like a firing squad and opened fire. Using Force Speed, Spartacus closed in on the line once more and this time, used Force Wave, slamming almost the entire line into walls, knocking them out before kicking the last pirate in the head.

Thats the last of them... all still alive.

There was some whimpering behind her as the crew and hostages crawled out. Even though Spartacus had just rescued them, they still treated her with fear. It may have to do with her generally darker air around her, but she felt like they thought her to be some dark jedi or exile. It confused her as to why everyone thought so.

After a while, Spartacus got back to the Jedi Temple (hm... has it moved yet or is it still there?). As per usual, many of the people there gave her space, but not in a pleasant manner. Their stares made Spartacus a bit shy and uncomfortable, in which she drew her Jedi hood more over her head.

(Depends on which temple. On Coruscant? No. The Vong trashed it when they took the planet. On Ossus? Yes. Luke rebuilt the Academy over/around Odan Urr's old place.)

"What is this world coming to when even the normals make people nervous?" a raspy voice whispered from the dark recess of an archway. As Spartacus hurried through the hallway below, three red eyes -blinking noticeably out of sequence and at different time- followed her movements until she passed through a doorway and out of sight. "I mean, I know I make people twitch like a Kowakian lizard monkey, and sure there is Darth Corduroy...but frik...Miss twitchy down there? Bleagh."

Looking over at his companion, who only nodded in agreement, he sighed. Things were starting to look fun again, and not just on Coruscant or any number of the recently attacked worlds. There was a strange buzz about the entire galaxy.

He might have tied the sensation to the Force if he could tap into such intuition the way some of the legends could. The Solos had been able to, and before and during their time; the Skywalkers.

He sipped at a blended Tatooine throatburner and let the nearly poisonous concoction warm his thin body. He'd hung around where he wasn't supposed to long enough to catch the gossip he wanted. Releasing his hold on the hacked and scrambled archive droid that he'd been keeping next to him on the wall, he shot up the sheer surface and out an opened air vent. The debris from the fallen droid would occupy the other Jedi long enough for him to get a good head start.

"Fun again indeed." he chuckled, skull-like mouth widening into an unnaturally wide grin as he flew.

OOC: Actually no...while it is true that the Jedi Academy in Coruscant was destroyed, there was a new Academy that was built before the events of the Second Galactic Civil War, and became the Jedi's Main HQ after the end of that conflict, where this RP takes place presumably. In fact here is the article on the New Temple. That's not to say that the Jedi Academy in Ossus is not still there though. It's just closed for repairs...

IC: The Jedi Temple in Coruscant felt relatively new to Leocadia, who spent most of her life traveling to other worlds or meditating at her home at the Ossus Jedi Academy. Even though she was a Jedi Knight now, Leocadia did not feel ready to take up a Padawan and move on to become a Jedi Master. Instead, she spent her time reading through the Jedi Archives, recently refurbished after the war. With the deal of conflict between the order and the Galactic Alliance due to the war, she was worried about the future of the order, but Leocadia could hide her emotions well, even from most Jedi.

Upon her return to the almost deserted planet of Mossak, Kaela found that her master was already in his chambers. She watched the guards step aside and allowed her to stride up the many steps to his throne. Mossak was undoubtedly theirs to control; its native species had all, but dispatched themselves to distant planets after Darth Corzaneous had invaded it with the Empire remnants. It had only been shortly after Kaela had been taken from Naboo to here, where she had agreed to be his apprentice. Oh, how ten years had passed so quickly.

Kaela came to a halt, sensing her master's satisfaction. She showed no emotion when he turned towards her; she merely focused her attention on him. Her devotion was entirely to him. As well as teaching her the ways of the Sith and turning to the dark side, Corzaneous had helped her to survive the galaxy's new wicked ways.

"Master, Galidraan has been severely weakened and won't be able to rise again for another few weeks at the very least," reported Kaela. "Some Imperial troops remained behind to terrorise those that they suspected supported the New Republic."

"Assumingly everyone?" questioned Corzaneous.

"Yes, master. Our troops were not decreased in numbers, the resistance raised was minimal. Do you wish to continue the conscription?"

"The conscription is continuing as we speak, my apprentice. Some choose to follow us out of fear or the mere fact their home is no more. Others are blind to their own ignorance and so you know what I do."

Kaela nodded. She knew that her almighty master could easily make almost anyone to joining the army using mind tricks. She had yet to learn to know how to do this, but she thought only then could she be worthy in Corzaneous's eyes.

"You seem to be troubled. Tell me what you are doubting, my child," came his eerie voice.

Corzaneous was wise, wiser than Kaela originally thought. He could sense the doubt from miles away. Truth betold, she had been doubting the plan to topple democracy wouldn't work. As much as she wanted it to happen, she couldn't see it herself. They shared the same vision, but Kaela felt that her emotions were beginning to play a vital role in this. She grasped the blue crystal necklace around her neck, the only link to her shrouded past ...

"I am merely nervous if this will work, master," she lied.

"Clear your mind, your feelings cannot play a part in this," ordered Corzaneous. "Your next mission will be happening shortly. I am going to send you with a recommended pilot, Crano Denver, to Coruscant. There are strong rumours that political icons are gathering to discuss the New Jedi Order. Kill them and report back to me."

It was only now that Kaela felt nervous.

She had never killed before and it seemed Corzaneous would finally get his way with her. She merely bowed her head and left at once. Crano, fortunately, was a silent individual who only spoke when they took off in the starship. Kaela shook her head. Was this really how she was meant to turn to the dark side?

The night temperatures on Coruscant dropped sharply and soon Davrok found himself pulling his robes tighter about his body. He supposed in an odd sense that it was really only cold on the side of Coruscant he was on. After all, it was rather hard to put out any weather forecast for the city when the entire planet was a city unto itself.

He thought more and realized he'd never really wondered how a planet whose ecosystems had changed at least twice in the past decade could continue to support life without completely tearing itself apart.

Ours is not to question, but to understand and accept? he wondered, smirking. Or maybe that's not what the brownrobes tried to drill into our heads as kids.

Putting the weather out of his mind, he pulled out a datapad and began going over the recent planetary attacks. Galidraan had been the most recent, and while the Jedi would argue that there was no discernable pattern to them, Davrok felt that there had to at least be a rudimentary connection.

Figuring that out would narrow down his guesses as to which planet would be hit from "every system in the galaxy" to "a few thousand".

Unless it was all a game of Whack-an-Ewok designed to keep everyone stretched thin, which would put the next attack...

Davrok Orion grinned even wider, skull-like face nearly splitting. It looked like he wouldn't have to do much travelling at all.

After looking through the data from the past, she couldn't help but notice a few files from more recent sources. One of the worlds, Galidraan, was recently attacked, there had ben rumors that the Imperial Remnant, the last vestige of the Old Galactic Republic and it's Sith-based successor, the Galactic Empire was responsible. It was likely though, the two factions had been in a state of Cold War between the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant, now led by an Emperor for the first time in 30 years.

Leocadia also thought that it could be something that could be done by a Sith, but that would be the least likely thing to happen, at least that is what she hoped. Getting up from off the desk, she left the Archive Room, awaiting orders from the Council.

OOC: Anyone is free to interact with Kaela at this point. Well, for those who are currently in Coruscant, anyway.

IC: The pilot did not speak, only when it was directly related to their mission.

Kaela was frustrated. There was something about this that felt awfully wrong. She sat in anticipation of what was about to happen next. The ship neared Coruscant. This was perhaps one of the few places that she had been to. After all, Corzaneous liked to keep a good eye on her. He hardly let her out of his sight until recently when their attack on democracy had started.

"You may depart back to the base," she told the pilot.

"But Lord Corzaneous's intructions were strict that I remain here until the mission is complete," he said.

The frustration continued within Kaela. Did this mean her master did not trust her? Fortunately for her, she had more tricks up her sleeve than Corzaneous could have possibly imagined. She had developed a power to compel people against their will. She walked up to the pilot, an annoyed expression etched across her face, and focused her eyes into his.

"Lord Corzaneous's instructions are irrelevant, only mine are. I want you to return to Mossak and deliver whatever mission he has for you next. If he asks of me, then tell him you were confident I could be trusted with this one mission alone."

"Yes, General Kaela."

Kaela watched him leave in the ship again, grateful that she could get this over and done with on her own. Murder was not something light after all. Murder in cold blood was not light either. These politicians were gathering and this was the perfect time to strike. Her lightsaber had not been used too much yet; perhaps now was the time?

She hurried through the city, hoping to find the place where the politicians were meeting. Apparently, it would be in the new Jedi Temple. Kaela had never dwelled there before, only seeing it as an abomination. But alas, her personal feelings for it would have to wait for now. Besides, there was a job at hand. Her master had to be pleased for her.

As she carried on walking, she found a local bar full of drunks and people having a good time. Kaela walked through, aware of the dozens of eyes now on her, and sat down at the bar.

"What can I get you?" asked the barman.

"Something hard," she replied.

"Never seen you around these parts, you a tourist?"

Idle chit chat was not needed here. If Kaela had the chance, she'd use the Force to choke him. She'd only been able to do it a couple of times, but she was perfecting the technique. But alas, she needed to blend in here. So she decided to go along with this banter.

"Yes, I'm on a vacation," replied Kaela. When she received her drink and paid for it, she focused her eyes into his. He stood there, compelled. "I don't suppose you know anything about the Jedi Temple? Like how to get there, for instance?"

"You're too far away from it, these are the lower parts of the city," he replied emotionlessly. "Go to the upper parts and there'll be directions up there."

"Thank you, that's just what I needed," she said, releasing her control of him. She took a sip of her drink. "Not bad."

""Not bad", huh?" a raspy voice said from behind her. "Must be your first time here."

Sitting next to Kaela was a tall figure, hooded and robed in black, with most of his face concealed in shadows.

"Not you again..." the bartender grumbled. "Same thing -excuse me, miss- every week. Show up, scare the customers, and-"

The hooded figure leaned forward slightly and while much of his face remained hidden, a metallic lower jaw protruded from the cowl, clicking slightly as he spoke.

"Sure, blame the big guy with the black outfit and the mask. That's what the entire galaxy does every time there's war." he grumbled.

"And with good reason, too." the bartender sighed, sliding a massive tankard forward. "Take your usual and try not to leave the bar empty when you go this time." Turning away, he spared one glance at his bouncer -now unconscious near the doorway which seemed to have a head-sized dent in its frame. "damn freak."

The hooded figure chuckled and took a sip, the rush of the beverage behind his mask echoing faintly. Placing the oversized mug on the table, he turned again to Kaela.

Behind the mask, Davrok grinned.

"I hear you need a guide to the Jedi Temple?"

Stephen stood in solitude atop a mountain like rock in the deserts of tattooine the only thing that light the dark night sky was the white aura from his lightsaber blade, his eyes were shut, and his clothes swayed with every breeze of wind, a smirk crept onto his face as he head a screech, he glanced down from the rock and saw a caravan, getting attacked by some 'desert dwellers' as Stephen had come to call them, small people, black skin and glowing eyes, all wearing hooded robes, Jawa's he believed the rest of the planet called them.

Stephen stepped off the large rock and fell around 15 feet, landing gracefully, his lightsaber was in the palm of his right hand, the blade already on, he charged at the Jawa's and threw his lightsaberat one of them cutting it clean in half, he used the force to jump high into the air, coming down foot first atop another one, before catching his returning light saber, as the two final Jawa's took aim with their guns Stephen extended his left arm and used his force push ability to Launch them into a near by boulder, knocking them out.

Striding over to the Caravan master ,who was happy to see Stephen, the young Jedi Smirked "when we return to the town, you owe me money, that is the third attempt the Jawa's have taken at your Caravan and the third time i have saved your skin, this job has been more hassle than it's worth" Stephen announced before Striding towards some lights in the distance "Now lets get going" he shouted back to the caravan master.

Kaela saw a stranger come from behind and sit next to her. It did not matter to her whether he made conversation with her or not. She needed to blend in with the folk here. She heard the bartender going on at the newcomer. So he showed up, scared the customers and did numerous other things? It was interesting to say the least. What, with the sheltered life she had led under Corzaneous, anything compensated for her boredom.

"It is my first time here as a matter of fact," she said, turning directly towards him.

She looked quickly towards the doorway, where the bouncer was unconscious. Impressive. There was something telling Kaela to be careful, but no one knew who she was here. If anyone thought she was this quiet and helpless girl, then they had another thing coming. Being the apprentice of the last Sith lord in the galaxy had its perks, of course.

And then the stranger was now offering himself to be a guide to the Jedi Temple?

"Yes, I have important business there with an old friend," replied Kaela, deciding to take this and use it to her advantage.

Leocadia walked across the New Jedi Temple in Coruscant. Passing by fellow Jedi Knights and Masters. She saw a group of unfamiliar people enter the temple. She had heard that they were discussing the future role of the Jedi Order here in the Temple.

Leocadia reached the chamber where the Jedi High Council resided, and all nine(1) members of the council were present.

"Ah, thank you for coming Leocadia. We have a request for you." One of the Council members said.

Leocadia bowed then said, "Master Durron."

Another master spoke, "As you may have already known, members of the New Republic are here to discuss the future affairs with the rest of the council here at the temple. I want you to be one of their escorts."

"Yes Master Ramis. I will take care to protect the Alliance members."

"Be careful, I sense dark clouds approaching the Temple, be wary of the situations that lay ahead of you. May the Force be with you."

Leocadia bowed, then turned around and left the High Council room.

(OOC: 1. There were 9 members of the Jedi High Council as of the last Star Wars Novel in 44 ABY.)

A hollow, tinny laugh rang from the mask. "Must be pretty important for you to get there then. The Jedi haven't exactly been on the good side of anybody the past few years. I can get you to it if you'd like..." he paused, wondering in the space of less than a second how far he should try his luck. "...but if we're stopped, arrested, or held up in any way, I don't know you." he finished.

He'd thought briefly about asking for payment, but he'd spotted what looked to be the end of a lightsaber handle at her waist. Any Jedi knew right where the temple was. It was basic knowledge to anyone who'd been around Coruscant long enough. The fact that she apparently had the skill to wield a lightsaber -amateurs didn't carry it the way she did. They flaunted the fact that they had one of the ancient weapons- but didn't know where the Jedi Temple was told him only one thing.

She wasn't going there to reflect on the Force and commit suicide by leaping from the council chamber.

He wasn't quite sure that thought process was ordered as the stereotype went, but it made sense to him. Adjusting his robes and finishing his drink, he put the mug back on the table.

"Ready when you are." he said hollowly.

as Stephen strode into town, with the Caravan master and his caravan, he headed towards van masters trading spot, it was a short walk to the market and Stephen watched as the Van master prepared his stall "well, here is your payment" he announced as he threw Stephen some republic credits. Stephen nodded and dropped his lightsaber into his boot, where he kept it in a specifically customized pouch.

Striding off, he headed for a transport ship, he was heading from his home world and towards Corescant, it was his first time away from tattooine and so he figured he would head for the Jedi Temple, a memorable trip he figured, he would see how the actual Jedi Live.

when he arrived he payed the man who arranged the transports and headed onto the ship, he found a quiet and secluded part of the ship, sat down and wresting his elbows on knees and thinking quietly to himself.

OOC: Mind if spartacus joined you Kevin?

Spartacus remained seated on one of the benches nearby the main lobby, reflecting and contemplating on small things, generally just resting. Her ears did pick up padawans scuttling away as they approached near her as well as the soft murmurs of gossips that floated around the atrium.

Zakuro.

Spartacus' head shot up, her eyes wide alert. There was but only one person that ever called her Zakuro. Master Tagram cast a shadow over her from where he stood and instantly, Spartacus shot up to her feet.

Master, what can Spartacus do for you?

My dear girl, why must you insist on using your male name? You are a female. Zakuro is a nice name don't you think? In any case, follow me.

Jedi Master Tagram, once he found out her female name, had not once used Spartacus, insisting that since she no longer need to use her male name to protect herself and that she should use the name her parents truly gave her. Still, she was always uneasy about it. Force of habit perhaps. Spartacus followed quietly behind Master Tagram, pulling her hood more closer over her head.

I see you still prefer the comfort of the dark and solitude hm? Still a bit scopophobic hm?

Yes Master. Eye contact tends to draw unwanted attention and....

And your peculiar choice in clothing... doesnt?

Spartacus fell silent. She knew Master had a point and he himself knew it, as a satisfied grin spread across his lips. He led Spartacus into his room and out onto the balcony so it overlooked the Coruscant scenery.

Whatever it may be, you are still a Jedi and with that, you still have responsibility to the people and the peace. We have important guests that will be in the Temple. You know, the type that is better off alive. Should it come to it, I want you to assist in protecting them.

Master Tagram stared out further into the city.

I am sure you know the suspicion that float around you, about you teetering on the dark side and what not. I know. After all, i picked you up and i fought for your acceptance into the Order. Shoe them what you can do and that you are a Jedi. Blow away their suspicions with actions.

Do not worry Master. My cause is not one that is pushed forward by emotions. I will not fall. Who should i see in order to help?

I would presume that they will be in the chambers where the High Council resides. Perhaps you should wait near by and offer assistance to the Jedi that would be in charge. Here. Take this note and pass it along to them. It should make it easier for them to accept you with my recomendation. After all, you aren't the social type right?

Another friendly jab. Spartacus could not help but twitch a small smile at her lips. Bowing deeply to Master Tagram, Spartacus departed from his room and made her way to the Chamber doors, awaiting for it to open so she may begin to look for the person she should talk to. As a side thought, Spartacus puller her hood off her head, trying to make herself as less like the rumours as possible.

Okay... calm down... just ask for the jedi, then hand her or him the letter.... thats all there is to it...

As Leocadia walked through the Jedi Temple, she saw another person, clothed in Black Jedi robes. Sensing the person, she was nervous, somewhat yet she had to do something important.

Not wanting to leave her passerby like this, Leocadia spoke to the girl. "Do not worry, relax yourself. The Council will listen to what you have to say." With that, Leocadia walked off to meet with the Jedi and New Republic representatives.
