So Im playing through this game again...Currently Im in aladins world....But trust me I will go the whole way and beat the optional bosses like sephiroth.....so far the biggest challenge was cerebrus..I know he is optional...but they all have to die lol.

So who else felt obligated to play the hard mode first or after they beat it on normal....And you have to agree....normal mode is a joke compared to hard. Honest Its a ton of fun and Im going to enjoy playing this on hard.

Others share their experience on hard mode and tell me what i can look forward too. Ill set out a new thread once I have hit a problem, or just plain beat the game to give my full review of hard mode.

Haha. I agree with you so much. I started replaying the game, but I wanted to play Hard Mode just so it would have a little bit of a new feel to it. It felt pretty normal until I had to fight Cerberus, which was quite a fight for me. Actually, I think my save file is saved right before the fight with him. I'm not sure, I stopped playing when school started, I should probably start that back up!

Anyway, hard mode gets quite hard as you go through it. I can't wait to fight Sephiroth. I remember beating him on normal, over and over again. This time, I'm gonna be scared. D:

When playing any Kingdom Hearts games, (if they offer modes) I usually start backwards so I always start off with Proud Mode. When I do that, it gives the game's battle system an extra kick, so you're almost tricked to think that's how it is normally - making it all the more better. That and it takes a while to complete. On the other modes, it can take me 3 days or less to complete the game, but on Proud Mode I can get stuck in some places easily - letting me train more, and of course take more time with the game. And I like it that way .

I'm going to have to agree. I found KH (playing it my first time) a breeze to pass through. I liked proud mode because it offers me more of a challenge and that imo, makes the game more interesting and fun. Like Estrella, when I was playing it through my first time, I didn't get that much hours into the game and, I want my money to be worthy and have a decent amount of time on the game.

ya, I played proud mode in KH2. I beat it, very hard challenge, but did not complete it a 100% not yet. I will try to.

When I replayed KH1, I had the goals of beating it on hard mode, and doing everything I could in game. I pretty much did just that....

We all got to level 100, beat all optional bosses, beat all the tournaments, Donald & Goofy got their +weapons, and Sora got his Ultima weapon.

Honestly I didn't see much of a difference between normal and hard modes. Everything was still kinda easy IMO. My 3 year old Broski was still able to do tournaments just fine on hard mode. I don't know, it just seemed.... Slightly different. Not a big change in difficulty.

Oh, I could never do those mushroom certificate things. I forced myself to get the one I needed for the Ultima weapon. XD
