You Know How in ffX rikku has those really awesome swirley eyes, which is how you find out shes an Al Bhed......Does she have the swirley eyes in ffx-2? i cant remember noticing it?
personally i thought the swirley eyes were groovy :P
 
ah thanks, i forgot all aboot the eyes and i never noticed them in ffx-2 but thanks for clearing that one up for me heehee :D
 
I'd not noticed them in that picture, no matter how many times I had seen it in the past. Now that I zoomed in (as it was such a large picture in that version of it) I can clearly see the swirly eyes that were present in FFX.

That said I had never seen then in normal graphics, so they weren't that noticable, but we have to assume they were present. It's the way her eyes are, but it is very subtle. If they looked really weird they would look manky and fewer people could ever love her... At least not in the same way.

Having them swirly, but not so blatant, seems to fit best in making her seem distinct while still looking human.

Yes Rikku has the same eyes in X-2. Have you ever noticed how one of Yunas eyes and blue and the other is green. I had to go back and check FFX to see if they were the same and I believe they are. So anyone notice something about Paine's eyes?
 
I've always loved Rikku's eyes, but I noticed that they weren't that noticable in X-2 or at least I didn't pay much attention to them.
 
Rikkus got Rinnegan eyes.....sorta, sept its all spiraly.
 
I wonder if her sight is any different to other people's because of her swirly eyes.. That'd be kind of disorientating for Yuna; although her green eye doesn't have a swirl.

Yup, she's still got the swirls. But, yeah, I've actually been wondering myself about her sight. The creators obviously did that on purpose, since it's also in FFX-2. But why? Besides making Rikku more unique.......just gets me thinking.
 
I loved the swirling eyes of Rikku in both FFX and FFX-2, i thought they were just amazing, and really impressive, infact there was a short after i first saw them that iwished i had eyes like that, they were justso different, and individual. somebody with those eyes IRL would attract so much attention it would be unbelievable
