I've just finished watching it, and it was fucking good. Think 28 Days Later, meets the filming style of The Blair Witch Project (i.e. done through the perspective of a camera). While it's all pretty predictable through the whole thing, the suspense is incredible at times. The only problem is that it's Spanish, and therefore has subtitles. D:

Im tempted to get this one, but sadly America has already done a remake which sucks as this has just come to DVD. Ive heard nothing but good things about it.

Its a good film. The american remake dubbed quarantine is basically the exact same film but in english ofc and not as good. One of the better horror films out there. The sequel was decent too.

[REC] is one of my favourite horror movies. It's actually good and seems very realistic, like how people would act if they actually found themselves in that situation.
I even don't mind that its being done with that weird self cam camera style (dunno what that style is called)

I've seen the movie a few times now and one part in particular always manages to make me scream :damon:

found footage.

the second was decent, but a little forced. i found some of the characters in it awkward, particularly the kids. it felt like they were only there to fill in a bit of time, and the fact that they just end up getting left in a cupboard in just proves how useless they were. not seen the third, but i've heard it's crap

I haven't seen the 2nd. Would you recommend it for someone who has seen the first? I'm on the edge about what happens next but is it BETTER that it stay that way and that it's FINE with a sort of cliffhanger? Or, should I see it to quench my thirst for what happens next?

it isn't a bad film, i quite liked the angle they took on it but it gets a little daft towards the end. if you liked the first one it's certainly worth watching

i saw the third one recently and i didnt like it. its nothing like the first two. its like tarantino gone terribly wrong.

I thought the first two were awesome. I loved the angle they took with the second one, but then the third one just went and completely ruined it all. I'm convinced that Rec 3 was meant to be a spoof. :hmmm:

But you know what? The third one actually started out to be really awesome. Right up until the outbreak, it was very enjoyable to watch. But from then on, it just turned into a comedy.
