Re-Play?

Well I've just finished FFXIII and i'm going to re-play one of the FF games but I can't deside on which. I have all of them but i've narrowed it down to a few;
FFIV (DS REMAKE)
FFVIII
FF-X-2

Reasons for not choosing the others;
FFVII-I've played it 11 times although it never gets boring I needa take a break.
FFX- Not really fond of it
FIX - I don't like the fact the characters are really short and have rather large heads >.<

So what game should I replay from the list?

But if I had to choose from that list, I'd go with FFIV. I haven't played the DS remake since I have no DS but I'm replaying it now on SNES. It's my second favorite FF though and I'm really enjoying playing through it again.
 
I've never played VIII but I'd say that one, it looks good and sounds good. So give it a go.

 I refuse to play FFIX the characters are too short and have large head ¬.¬ But I might play IV.

I'm asking because a lot of people are judgmental about it based on the character's appearances, which is just silly. FFVII had people with block hands and no mouths. So what the character's have a chibi look to them. That doesn't take away from the gameplay at all, imo. It's a fantastic game with great characters and a great story. It gives me that nostalgic feel as well since it's kind of a throwback to the old FF games. I mean, if you haven't played it you should give it a go.

If you have played it and you just don't like it, that's cool; but seriously, saying you're not going to play a game because the characters have big heads makes no sense. The characters on DS all have big heads anyway. xD
 
I wouldn't judge them by appearance, of course i've played it and finished it why would I have it other wise :P? Nah it's just I didn't really enjoy the storyline as much as VIII and VII :/ The thing about the shortness of the characters is just another thing about the game that annoyes me :P If they did do a remake of the game I will buy it-But fingers crossed the art has changed dramaticly :P

I doubt they'll remake it. There's no real reason to, tbh. I admit the art isn't for everyone. I loved it personally. I thought it gave the game a more fantasy feel and I'm a sucker for fantasy. xD

And yeah, I'll definitely say go with IV then. It's a great game.
 
I would recommend FFVIII, but that's a very biased response considering that is one of my top 3 games. I loved the story, the setting, the characters, everything. It's a good game, I could never get bored of it.

I'd suggest replaying Final Fantasy VIII, mainly for the character development system. Much like FFV, you can reply it a completely different way, and will lead to an entirely different playing experience. Plus, there is a whole lot fo extra-curricular stuff to do, which you may or may not have already taken care of during your first play-through of the game.
 
If you can get passed the super deformed art desgn of IX you're going experience a great game.

I played IV on the DS, it's pretty good so go for that one.
 
Yeah I'd go with FFVIII its my favourite and the 1st FF game I ever got you more than likely played 2-3 times...or maybe 2-7....but its a good romp and has a lot of sidequests so thats what I recommend

Naah, but i'd go with VIII. I've actually been wanting to play VIII :hmmm: I love the characters for the most part and the storyline is great as well. I like the game a lot.

I'm only suggesting but, do whatever you want :monster:

Failing that, I've been thinking about what I'l play next myself, and FFX-2 & FFIV both came up.. though tbf, I did recently play VIII soo.. actually, i never finished it...:hmmm:

Play the one you played longest ago? Close your eyes and do eeny meeny mini mo...?

If you've managed to narrow it down, just try that :8F:

Afterall, peoples opinions, especially on X-2 and VIIII are gunna be very varied
 
I say go for Final Fantasy VIII. To me it has more replayable qualities then the others. Its nice starting VIII over and over again, I dont get bored of it and Ive replayed it Lord knows how many times.
