If i choose to ignore someone on this site what happens?
Does it mean i cant see any of their posts and also not see them in the sb?
Also are they aware of the fact that im ignoring them?
 
I'm pretty certain that you can still see their posts.

They wouldn't know you were ignoring them I wouldn't think. It'd be like when you block someone on MSN. They don't know they're being blocked.

I'm certain that the ignore feature only blocks PM's from the member and that you can't see any of their shouts in the SB and that they can't give you any usernotes.

So no personal form of contact is available to them...so I suppose they would know that they are being blocked if that happened.

Someone else might be able to confirm that though. >.<

I have someone on ignore right now and I can't see their posts. I'm pretty sure they've posted on places that I look at.

If you ignore someone on the site,

• You cannot see their posts made in a thread where you look
• You cannot see any thread they make
• They aren't aware you are ignoring them, unless they try to contact you and a notice comes up.
• They can't PM you, but you can PM them
• For the SB, you have to do the input command, otherwise they're not ignored. [I think] Command: /ignore >>name<<
 
Just basically what Seiji said,

- their posts aren't viewable, and you can click "View Post" to see the post.
- you can still see their posts in the Shoutbox.
- and no, they don't know you're ignoring them.

I hope that helps, even though I hardly know ^_^
