ive never player fx-2 so does anyone know what happens too the huge rifts left across spira in all directions created by sins terra graviton attack.

-Are slowly being rebuilt
-arise two separate tribes, the Youth League and New Yevon
Seems to me that instead of asking what happened, you should check this out by yourself!!!

Hey guys, can we please add a bit more effort to the posts? One-liners are typically considered as spammy. A little elaboration won't hurt. :) Thank you.

considering your question is a little Vague i honestly think you should play the FFX-2 Game, seriously throughout the course of the game it explains every single question that was left un-answered at the end Of Final fantasy X. . . well it did for me anyway, but then again i didn't have that many unanswered questions at the end of FFX

There is a bit of a difference between Mushroom Rock Road and the Djose Highroad. That's probably caused after Operation Mi'ihen. No doubt these "rifts" caused by Sin would be left as they are or repaired somehow. You should find a cheap copy of Final Fantasy X-2 and experience it for yourself. That's the fun(ish) way to find things out. Just don't expect the fiend problem to disappear in Spira though.

I've played through X-2 most of the way (haven't finished it though but mostly done) and from what I've seen it doesn't really explain this. Sin uses a powerful attack that rips up the planet on a large scale and yet we don't really see the results of it.

From what I think the rifts are across Spira in places where you don't visit so you don't really get to see the results of them although I would imagine due to there depth they would be filled in by the sea or turned into massive rivers.

Is it the attack which created four cylindrical vacuums near the end of FF10? I thought that attack only affected the sea and some small islands. The sea became parted or something, right? It just returned to its original state a few seconds later. Remember the water came crashing down the rift and the ground blowing up? It didn't affect mainland Spira.

It's this one, right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHcJHidlxC4

Yes thats the attack we are talking about, what it did was make the gauges in the earth then it made the land beneath the paths explode upwards. They may have been filled in by their own explosion but I doubt it.

If you watch it doesn't really show the land again so we are uncertain whenever this is the case or what happened. Note the airship is flying over one of these gauges when it explodes so unless we get a vertical shot we can't see it.

as far as i am aware, most of the rifts created by this attack are being or have been repaired in final fantasy X-2, however as already previously posted, it mainly only affected some small islands and parted the ocean.

intersting question regarding the rifts, i think squaresoft, it was known as squaresoft at the time, just left it out, because even after you gain entrance into sin, there's no difference in the layout of any of the areas, and once more, the layout of FFX-2 is basically the same as FFX, the only difference is that there are more buildings now, other then that it is basically the same

so i think they just fogot about those rifts truthfully, because if you look at the movie sequence those rifts did a lot of damage, i mean alot of damage
