Hey fellow PS3 gamers, I've recently just got into the whole PS3 theme maker thing.

I've got 2 themes so far, one is fully made from scratch (excluding icons) with a background I made. The other one is an edit of a popular Theme named "Aniom" by the user known as Nanoshock of deviantART.

So, first comes my own theme.

It's called Carbon R, because I'm heavily influenced by Gran Turismo 5 right now.

Very simple I know. But hey, sometime simple is better.

And here is the edit of "Aniom" Theme.

If you have this theme, you'll notice that not much has been changed, except for the background, and the "TV" is also the same icon as "VIDEO"

---- THEME INSTALLATION ----

If you wanna use those themes, then here's how you do it, via USB.

---USB---
• 1. Download a theme
• 2. Go into your USB and make a PS3 folder (must be all CAPS)
• 2.1 Make a THEME folder inside (must be all CAPS)
• 2.2 Drag/Copy the P3T file into THEME

• 3. Go to your PS3 XMB (console)
• 3.1 Go to SYSTEM on your PS3
• 3.2 Go to your THEMES
• 3.3 From the THEMES, on the top of the theme selector, there should be "install"
• 3.4 Select your USB drive
• 3.5 Select your theme and voila.


It should be the same process for PSP --to--> PS3

Your Carbon theme is pretty cool! I'm not too sure about the red stripes highlighting the XMB though... I've been hooked on GT5 for the last few months too :whistle:

I used to make PS3 themes but then stopped because I'm not exactly graphically inclined. Does anyone know if it's possible to make your own dynamic themes? the moving ones?
 
Yeah, I've noticed that too when I actually put the theme on my PS3.

Didn't see that part, but making PS3 themes really isn't my forte, too much work. X_X.
 
I've been wanting to do a theme for a long time, and thought maybe I could put my GFX skills to this one too.
 
I love the first one.. can u make psp themes with that kit or only ps3???
