Announced at the February Nintendo Direct stream, Project Triangle Strategy (yes, really. Name is also subject to change) is a brand new "HD-2D" title from Square-Enix, sporting an aesthetic art style very similar to that of 2018's Octopath Traveler. Instead of a regular party turn-based RPG, this new title is a tactical RPG in a similar vein to Final Fantasy Tactics.
In Project Triangle Strategy, there is war - and like all wars, what is it good for? Four protagonists, Serenoa Wolffort, Prince Roland, Frederica Aesfrost, and Benedict Pascalfind, themselves unceremoniously caught up in a burgeoning new conflict in the shadow of a previous war known as the Saltiron War - a conflict where nations fought for dominion over scarce salt and iron resources.
A demo for the game is out now on the Nintendo eShop. Like the initial Bravely Default II demo, this will allow players to sample the gameplay before the game's launch sometime in 2022, and to offer feedback.
