Well did you ever get stupid annoying prank calls? Did you ever prank call someone? Prank calls are quite stupid. Well I got one once and the person asked me a stupid question and I just hung up. So tell about your stupid anoying prank calls. Or tell about your experience of pranking someone.
 
Yeah I used to get them a fair bit in highschool from my lame friends! XD

Mostly though we'd do them together on someone we didn't like using the school phone. Most of the pranks we made were really horrible so I don't really feel like sharing them. <_<

However, I consider ringing and hanging up as prank calls as well. I remember when me and my ex broke up badly I would ring him every night and morning non-stop while he was sleeping, until he picked up and said, "Who the #### is this?"

It made me feel better getting to ruin his slumber. XD He deserved it though. <_<
 
I used to know someone who prank called people all the time, but she was so obvious it was more irritating than funny. She thought she was hilarious too, but she was really really lame.

We figured out the joy of with-holding mobile numbers recently at college, and we prank called my Girlfriend one Friday, as she always has Fridays off, and there was just 4 of us at the table, since everyone else was at a meeting, or doing homework in the library or whatever. It totally worked, she had no idea who it was and she was totally freaked out :wacky:
 
I dont think Ive even been prank called, unless you count the strange heavy breather I get from time to time....well, got, changed my number since then and I think I know who it was aswel now. Pervert

Anyway, the most *I* did was ring sex lines/child line with my mates when I was younger and ask them stupid questions, which Im too ashamed to repeat here :wacky:

And we had to do it in the phone box, if we could find a free number to ring we'd dial it. Mobiles didnt exist for normal folk back then, we didnt even have a house phone....the local phone box was the communal 'house phone' people would ring it ask for 'X person' and one of us kids would go knock on and tell them someone was on the phone for them xDD

They were the horrible prank calls I was referring to in my post. XD I did exactly the same thing. We'd be at school and use the payphone, only to ring free numbers.

We would ring the child help lines a lot and I'm really ashamed of half the things that were said by us. >_< Rotten little kids we were. <_<
 
When I was in primary school I used to go through the phone book and prank call people with funny names. I've also made my fair share of 'nasty' prank calls which I can't say I'm too proud of but yeah.. One thing I used to find hilarious was calling someone when they weren't home and then leave them tons and tons of messages on their answering machine.

It annoys me when people aren't creative enough to make interesting prank calls so they just do the thing where they just hang up as soon as you pick up. That's just lame and boring -__-
 
I don't think I've ever been prank called before. Not that I can remember anyway.

As for prank calling,yeah I used to do that with some of my friends. We'd call random numbers and say off the wall things. First we would dial *67 so they wouldn't be able to call us back. Once we forgot to do that and the person did call us back. It was pretty funny.

We've never really done any hardcore prank calling though.

Back when I was dating my husband,we had gotten in a fight and he was at his mom's house. He would usually call me a little later after fights just to patch things up,but he didn't call me and we weren't broken up. So I got worried that maybe something had happened to him so I had my cousin call his house to see if he was there. She did and hung up when he answered then called me back to let me know he was okay. I was way to stubborn to call him myself after we had had a fight.
 
A girl once prank called me when I was in 6th or 7th grade XD The little bitch didn't like me at all and it got worse when I refused to let her cheat on a test. I didn't like her either but I had better ways to humiliate her (always getting better grades and never cheating XD). Out of this one episode, I can't remember any other prank calls I received. My father on the other hand received quite a few and his reactions were always fun to watch XD

And I never prank called anyone. Honest :wacky:
 
I've done it :awesome:, I remember when we forgot to put 141 at the beginning one time and some woman rang back and threatened to come and get us >.>, other than that we've just dialed random numbers, though I haven't done one for multiple years now. I rang Vikki then just sat there laughing though, that was cool. :awesome:
 
I dont think I ever have gotten a prank call before. I use to do tons of prank calls with friends though.

Example: This wasnt really my idea nor did i take part in it besides being there when it happend.

we called a papa johns and ordered a shit load of pizzas and had it delivered at a guys house a couple houses down and across the street from him. We were all in the garage when we did this. When the guy delivered we where all watching the confusion and the guy ended up taking the pizzas back. Later a guy from the house a little older then us came to the garage and yelled at us asking if we did it, but we denied and after about 5 minutes he gave up. He was a friend of mine but we didnt really like him back then i guess.

It was harsh and i feel like an ass now but it was one of the best prank calls ever:P

we where like 13-14 at the time.
 
I have a friend who used to prank call walmart all the time talking about furbies. It was actually quite hilarious, and walmart even put up a notice that if a guy calls saying weird stuff about furbies to just hang up because it's probably the "furbie guy". xD
 
I've pranked called friends, never people I don't know though. I used some of the soundboards on ebaumsworld
 
I prank call large businesses all the time and give them a shitload of hassle, just because it's funny. I recall calling Wal-Mart and going through 3 managers until I got to the highest-ranking manager in the building and maintaining a steady conversation with her for quite a long time, all while being recorded. Win imo.

I also called K-Mart and continually requested "a pair of them biggest boots ya'll got in there" in a heavy southern/redneck accent. They kept coming back to me with "Well, we have these..." and once they brought me the largest boots they had in the store, I kept asking if I could "kick someone's ass with 'em" and they nervously replied neutrally until giving up.

I have a shit ton of hilarious prank calls recorded on my computer.
 
My friend and I thought it would be humorous to prank call a guy with the last name Berger and say exactly this:

"Is this Mr. Berger?"
"Yes?"
"Would you like fries with that?"

Of course, he definitely called us back to bitch us out... :D

Nah, I've never prank called anyone, and I've never really had any prank calls either. The closest thing I've ever done to a prank call was messing with a telemarketer, but hey, they're the ones that called me, right?
 
Usually if I get a call from a number I don't recognize or someones just dickin' around callin' me, I let it ring or just hang up immediately. Sometimes if I'm bored as hell I'll go along with it if it's a decent prank call that's semi-funny, otherwise though, I just let it hit voicemail.
 
not in a long time, the best i recall was when phonebooth had first come out, and hadnt been seen much, got on the ol' soundboard, and got some chinese blokey stuck in the phonebox for 10 minuites before making a fast, long run for it, we watched him the whole time through the window :).. and also ordering £50+ worth of food to the house opposite and sitting in the window laughin when they are like WTF
 
I did receive prank calls, even though I think they were aimed to my parents or something. Someone called with a private number, but stayed silent no matter what you say.

At first, I just hung up. But after something like 3 minutes he/she called again. I waited for a while, and hung up again.

It happened a few times that day. Then I got an idea "how about doing some funny things to annoy the caller?".

The first thing I did is to not hung up and stay silent as well.
Like I care, it is their money after all :smartass:

Then I though about doing something loud in order to surprise the caller.
I wanted to play some loud music or something, but I don't have anything which can do loud music. So instead I was screaming! :yell:
Don't remember what it was, but something that a hardcore football fan will scream (I am not one though, don't really like sports). For my surprise, the caller hung up quite quickly :P I did that a few more times with different themes than football and then I became tired.

So I just didn't hung it up and did what I wanted to. I tried a few times to speak to the caller, saying thing like "you are wasting your money..." or "you are breathing too hard, I can hear you...".

It did stop at some point. I actually like it though :sneaky:.
My parents did a greater fuss over it (as they suspected who it maybe) and even called the police. But in the end it didn't help as the caller didn't call again.



As about doing prank calls, I never did it. I even can't lie to people when I totally want to, even as a joke. I even make a lie plan in my head, considering all possibilities. But then, when I actually meet the person, I just can't lie...
