I can't wait for this game to come out, I just wish it wasn't PSP exclusive. But anyway on to the point to my knowledge they've only released the people like so:

Anyway here are my predictions/whats already known

FF 1 - Warrior of Light/Garland
FF 2 - Firion/Emperor Palemacia
FF 3 - /Honestly Idk/Cloud of Darkness
FF 4 - Cecil/Ceodore(Golbez) bro vs bro :O
FF 5 - Bartz/Enuo/Ex-Death
FF 6 - Terra/Kefka
FF 7 - Cloud/Sephiroth <-- duh!
FF 8 - Squall/Ultimacea
FF 9 - Zidane/Kuja
FF 10- Tidus/Jecht

FF 10 got me off-guard, it hought it would be Tidus/Seymour, well thats my list, feel free to post your thoughts!
 
i think as good as zidane and kuja are in the ffix that is how good tifa and yuna will be
 
Well, if the Cloud of Darkness is going to be in Dissidia, I'd think that Luneth from FFIII would be the choice hero for that game. About FFX: I read in a different thread that the most logical reason it's Jecht instead of Seymour is that
Jecht is Sin
so it seems like Jecht is the main villain of the game.

Yes I know, I just said that it shocked me at first. I also read that jecht will be able to
change into the Final Aeon
like in the game.

Yeah that wouldn't surprise me either, but it would be nice to see Enou, or Ex-Death. But yeah Gilgamesh has to be in there!
 
Since the designs are slightly more Amano-centric (in the case of the pre-VII, completely based on Amano's designs), I'd LOVE to see Vincent make it into the game. Even if he's just an extra/unlockable that doesn't take part in the main story or anything.

That's also why I doubt Zack will be in it instead of Cloud, because I don't think Amano did a version of Zack (although i guess it hardly matters since they're both so similar looking)...

I'd love to see Cloud in his SOLDIER outfit for the game, though...lol
 
That list all seems rather sexist when you look at the latter games... :P
And isn't Yuna TECHNICALLY the hero of X? ;)
I'm really looking forward to it coming out though! :)
 
Well, assuming Cloud of Darkness and Terra are in wich is likely, it follows the tradition of 3 girls.

Rosa, Rydia, Porom
Lenna, Faris, Kryle
Terra, Celes, Relm
Aeris, Tifa, Yuffie
Quistis, Selphie, Rinoa
Garnet, Freya, Eiko
Yuna, Lulu, Rikku
Ashe, Penelo, Fran

And the one of the two key figures of the game is the godess, Cosmos.
 
Seems odd there's no mention of Cloud. Hmm.

I'm feeling the slightest sensation of nostalgia. Somewhat reminds me of Erhgeiz, but Dissidia appears to have far more potential.

Yeah, but Yuna doesn't have ubber swords skillz like the other heroes :gasp:
 
I think the games got enough sword characters realy.... I'd love to see...

FF4- Kain and Golbez (Would be ace to leap around as Kain! But I agree, it's more likely to be Cecil... But that would be boring from a gameplay perspective as it'll be too similar to Warrior of Light)

FF5 - Faris and Ex-Death (But I doubt Faris will happen, and they'll probably shove Bartz in it.. Which I wouldn't be totally against if he was able to ride on Boko!) Oooo! Gilgamesh would be great too! In fact he'd be ace to play as!

FF6 - Terra and Kefka (I think this is likely)

FF7 - For the hero I think they'll probably go with Cloud or Zack... But personally I'd prefer to be able to play as Red XIII or Barret for uniqueness and playability in the game... As we already have sword guys, why not have a lion-wolf guy or a gun arm guy!
I'd also prefer them to Vincent, as we have already had the experience of playing Vincent in DOC and Ehrgeiz. I've always wanted to leap around as Nanaki, and bite things.

Everything else has been decided I think...

i think they need more girl hero characters in it and as seph is the only confirmed ff7 character i think tifa might come in as a hero character as she'd be good in a fighting (action) game, but i would like to see some one with gun a or long range weapon like vincent or wakka

Or Yuffie? She's a girl, and has a long ranged weapon.

I don't like yuffie it took me ages to get her as a playable character in ff7 in my first run which annoyed me, then in Crisis Core she just pissed me off

I thought of a new 1 when i got up this morning (rather weird but still). They should a kinda fused together biggs and wedge from each ff game.

Too bad they picked they picked Tidus for FFX. IT woulda been awesome owning people with mah Blitzball of Death as Wakka :neomon:.

For FF VII, its obviously going to be Cloud, the only other person I see as a possibility is Vincent.

For FF IV come on Golbez & Cecil or I aint buying!

VI - they are most likely gonna put Terra and Kefka in.
VII - I think either Cloud or Zack will be in it because they both have a strong past with Sephiroth.And what I mean by that is that they both despise Sephiroth.Imo it wouldnt make sense to have Vincent in it if Sephiroths in it I mean if Hojo or Weiss was in Dissidia then yes I can see that happening.
X - I also thought Seymour would be in it.But Im glad he is not. ^_^
XII - Dont really know who is gonna be in it since I never really played the game.

But anyways those are the characters I think will be in Dissidia. :monster:
 
I think for FF6, Terra is the most likely. And that would be awesome!
As we know many characters can change into different versions or forms of themselves. I think it is likely that they will decide to put Terra in the game, as she could then use her Morph ability to turn into Esper form.
 
With FF6, I think it would be wise to put Terra in Dissidia...save the good side from being a complete sausage fest and all ¬_¬. Kefka is a definite in my opinion.

As for FF7...of course it's gonna be Cloud! He's the main protaganist of FF7, which as we all know, is the core game of all the FF7 games they are releasing. I find it highly unlikely for them to make it otherwise, of course if they don't put him in, I'll slap myself in the face, but still, Cloud is the most likely choice...(and I really don't see where all these theories of it being Zack or Vincent came from...)
 
FF6: I'm hoping General Leo is included in it, would be great if himself and Kefka had a rematch. :monster:
FF7: Most likely it'll end up being Cloud, after all he's the most effective melee fighter in FF7 and how would SE resist putting him in? :wacky:
FF10: I'd say Auron could be a great addition for the FF10 side, or perhaps even Kimahri.
FF12: I expect Larsa or Basch will be the likely characters for FF12.
 
I believe it WILL be Cloud. They're not revealing him yet to keep the hype up for the game. I mean, Final Fantasy VII is the most popular FF to date.

I wish they'd add the heroines from each FF. I sooo want to see Rinoa in a game again ;___;

What I predict though, is the game isn't gonna be AMAZING gameplay wise, but it'll make up for it in the Graphics, CGI scenes and story XD
