Playing more than one game at a time

depends what sort of games i can't play two RPG's together i usually get mixed up with what items are on what game and sometimes get the story mixed up if it's a new RPG i have never played before

i think I'l merge this with an existing thread, seeing as I can see the discussion being identical

Threads Merged ^^

I'm really bad about playing more than one game at once. I get distracted easily and if I get the urge to play something else, I'll play it. I have games started on pretty much every game I own. I've only finished a small number of them though. xD

I play alot of games at once. I dont know what it is, but I cant help myself. Its like books, I read several of those at a time also. Its not werid, its variety I guess. Sometimes you get so wound up at leveling up on one game or a boss is driving you mad, that you hop onto another game for a change of pace. Its normal lol.

I like to switch them up consistently, I get bored easily and you get all different types of fun.

When some occasion like my birthday, or Christmas comes around, when I get a bunch of new video games, I'll usually get into multiple of the games for a while, then get into the other(s) after a bit. :P

And other times there's just a couple of things or more I am into, right now I am into playing Final Fantasy XII, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Pokémon Platinum, so that's Final Fantasy, Smash Bros., and Pokémon that I am into right now, and enjoying all of those games very much. ^_^

hmmmmmmm I'm usually in Quake 4, AND I"m the clan leader haha. so I can't be into another game. I did try to play FFXII when it first came out and play Q4 at the same time. I didn't get very far though. All I ended up doing was loggin in 6 hrs time. I just stood there haha.

I'm currently juggling 27 games.

I used to only focus on one, but lately I just keep switching.

I am playing two-three games at the same time right now. I should actually stop with that since it doesn´t feels inspiring enough to continue on the other games later on (the ones I am playing as well). I know... I should stick to one game, but I can´t. :moogle:

PSP: Final Fantasy VII
GBA: Golden Sun
NDS: Castlevania - Order of Ecclesia

I like to flit from game to game, especially when I'm at college. In the holidays, when I have craploads more free time, I'll focus on one particular game and play that, and then switch to another game.

But normally I like having a couple of games on the go at once, so I can play whichever I want depending on my mood. It's nice to be able to play one game on Tuesday and a different game on Thursday. Cause I don't like to focus on one particular game during college-time, as I can't devote as much time to it as I should like, considering homework and whatnot.

I usually play one game at a time, sometimes two at the most. I was a lot better when I was like, 13, but now I just can't do it. I lose my thread so easily, that if I don't play a game for say, 3 weeks or so, I feel like I have to start again on it.

Often, I can be playing one "heavy" game like a FF or Morrowind or something, plus a "light" game like football that I can just pick up and put down.

I don't really play more than one rpg at a time, but I play
like Halo, Call of Duty, Gears of War, and games like that online all the time.
Usually if I want to play with friends I play games online.
If not then I'm playing an rpg.

I can only play one game like FF (a primarily story driven game) at a time. I get too confused if I try to play more than one of these games. But I have no problem with playing more than one pick up and play game like Guitar Hero and online FPS games. I can play several pick up and play games and one story driven game at a time with no troubles.

If it is about watching two or more anime series in the same time, I'll say: "No way!!!".

But about games, I have different opinion. Recently, I have played both FFX and FFI. Whenever the TV was free, I played FFX and when not, FFI.
But still, in order to enjoy the most from the plot, I had to focus on one game near the end. So I have finished FFI and the day after finished FFX (or was it the other way around...?). I don't think it somehow hurt my enjoyment, as I totally enjoyed both of them. I think in most stories, the ending is the most vital (at least for me). So as long as I focus on that ending, I'll enjoy the plot even if I didn't focus as much on the rest of the plot. Though of course that not paying attention to the plot at all will ruin everything and the ending won't save it.

I do it quite a bit now, especially when trying to get a Platinum, mainly because the last trophy before it is normally the one that takes forever to get so I just swap games to relieve boredom. Although I still can't get away with playing games from the same series because it just confuses me >.>
