Piercings

Ermm...I don't have any piercings, I've never really though about getting one either to be honest. :wacky:

If I did get one though it would be on the ear...anywhere else on me would just be like "Um, no thanks".

I don't have a problem with piercings, though I'm not a fan of 'em. I'd never consider getting a piercing of any sort. Any piercing besides an ear piercing is ugly to me. Actually, nose rings and belly button rings aren't too bad.

The bull ring sort of nose piercing is hideous, though. Same with eyebrow and lip piercings. Nipple piercings don't do much for me either. As for tongue piercings.......why? Why go through that sort of pain for something that's going to be inside your mouth most of the time (hopefully)? What a sexy piece of metal you have lodged inside your mouth!

I love piercings. I have my tongue pierced, 3 holes in each ear, belly button, and nose. I also have an industrial cartilage piercing.

my parents, well my mum, decided that she wanted me to get my ear pierced when i was a kid, like 4 or 5 or summit, but i stopped wearing that when i was like 12/13 and then when i turned 16 i decided that i wanted to get my eyebrow pierced, but then after having my eyebrow bar removed forcefully i stopped wearing it.

I have my left ear pierced and thats it. I'm not going any farther than that...

My friend down in Virginia has 11 piercings though, and she's only 15! She has an eyebrow piercing, 5 ear piercings (2 on one, 3 on the other) and some other piercings I cant see cause...basically, I dont want to...but seriously, thats a lot of piercings for a 15-year old girl.

I have ear piercings, those normal kinds on your earlobes. -__-
Me mum has some extraordinary ear piercings. Instead of just a hole in her earlobes, she has this long line straight down her earlobe (that doesn't cut through her earlobes, if you know what I mean) and makes a large pierce. The cause of this, my mum said, is that she's been wearing so many heavy earrings during her lifetime. It's absolutely strange though. She can fit most of her earrings in one long pierce. :gasp:

I got my ears pierced but thats it and I don't even wear earrings anymore because of work. But I know a lot of weird piercing stories.

I know a guy (I swear he's gay but insists he isn't) who has his belly button and tongue pierced. And the woman that did my first tattoo has a piercing on her chest. And my friend has like everywhere pierced on her face. I wouldn't personally get any piercings other than my ears but its their body so its their choice.

As for parents piercing ears when you're a child, my dad was against me getting a piercing until I was old enough to look after them myself. I don't think it's nice to put holes in your kids ears when they aren't old enough to make their own decisions. So I got my piercing when I was 13.

I has a piercing in my left earlobe. I used to have one at the top of my left ear, but it got ripped out.

As for what I think of them, I obviously don't mind them since I got one. The only ones I really dislike are septum piercings and snake bites, they just look ugly to me. Oh, and when people get their ears gauged really large:

*example ripped off random google search* That's just nasty. And I hear they actually smell once you start gauging them large.

Earlobes stretched to 8mm
second earlobes above
industrial on left
two cartalidge on right
tongue
nose

plan on getting
caninebites
labret
other side of my nose
nose bridge
hand web
second tongue bar

what can i say im addicted

i don't even know what half of that is, got any pictures?

Wait, you're 15 and you're allowed all that?! we weren't even allowed anything other than studs in our ears at school, let alone anything else, which is why they made me take the eyebrow ring out....I doubt Id of kept it in the long run anyway... I needed parental permission for that, I mithered the mother for about 45 minutes non-stop til she relented, thinking I wouldnt do it, bloody waste of time anyway ¬¬

my school don't give a crap either way as long as i cover my ears with my hair and keep my tongue in my mouth and i only got my nose done last saturday so when i go back to school they'll most likely tell me to take it out, and all of them were pretty much guilty gifts from my mum becasue my dad seriously favours my brother and buys him loads of crap.
Also the one you probably don't knoe about
canine bites al for corners of your lips
labret just above the chin
nose bridge is an easy one right between the eyes =]
and hand web the bit of skin between the thumb and pointer finger

Oooh that hand web one just made me curl my fingers and toes, all squeamish like haha

I couldn't imagine having half that done, let alone that, Im too clumsy too have anything like that done to my hands for one, Id end up ripping something out :gonk:

Yeah I think that's why my mum has banned me from getting that until I move out...

I've got around 9 piercings in total.

I have two piercings in each of my earlobes = 4
I have one each in my tragus's (that part in the middle of your ear covering the hole) = 6
I have my left hilux pierced (the top part of your ear) = 7
I have my belly button pierced = 8
And I have my nose pierced = 9

I think I'm definitely done with piercings now. Not a fan of facial piercings besides nose studs either.

I have my ears pierced twice on each side but other then that, I have none whatsoever. I was thinking of getting my nose or belly done but idk. As for do I like them? I mean if it isnt over done then yeah sure but f its like BAM duude wheres yourface? or something then its like uhm okay xD Its kindof creepy if its like all over but thats just my thoughts.

I used to have my eyebrow done, but then I took out the bar and my dad threw it away. I managed to keep it open for a week with a paperclip till I could get a new one, it got horrendously infected but I managed to get a new bar and it healed up fine. Then I lost my new bar so I decided to just let it close up in the end.

I'm getting a scaffold done tomorrow that I'm a little worried about cos I don't think the place I'm going is that trustworthy, but it's cheap. Does anyone have any advice for after-care?

Cannot wait to get my mods started. The scaffold/industrial will probably be one of my first ones. But there are several kids at our school that has them. Mainly if you have long or fluffy hair, find someway to tie it back or brush it back so that it doesn't touch your piercing while it heals. You won't be able to sleep on the side that your scaffold's located, obviously, since that'll just cause more pain and a greater risk of infection. Whatever shop you go to, the piercer should give you a bottle of non-iodized sea-salt water to clean it with during the healing process. I wouldn't recommend cleaning alcohol since it'll dry the piercing out. That's all I know, but if you want, you can look onto here for more information . :griin:

I have 3 piercings, all in my earlobes.

To be honest I am not really a fan of piercings anywhere other than ears but I am not going to shun people for getting them. I just think they're starting to look a little tacky and when you're older you'll take them out anyway so its almost a waste of money too.

wtf is a scaffold, other than what you use for construction work on buildings?

It's also called an industrial piercing; that's the more known term for it. :wacky:
B
ut here's page about it :Here .
