Playstation Persona

Didn't he only blush when he looked at the MC? I forget :hmmm: maybe he's bi curious or something :wacky:

I've got back into my SMT games and imma be on the lookout for P1 and 2, as well as Devil SUmmoner, but that's not relavent :mokken:

Haven't played P3 or 4 in ages, when I get them back imma SO try and finally get the true ending on P4 :rage:

The moments in which their shadows are revealed are among the darkest, yet the most interesting in the game. Yukiko and Naoto's are very interesting.

That's true, Fusionist. You can also
Spend the FMCs last moments with him

Kanjix Naoto is my favourite P4 pairing.

MC and Yukiko
Chie and Yosuke
Rise and Teddie (Weird but love it)
Kanji and Naoto

TeddiexYukiko is adorable too imo  though the 'where are you touching!?' scene gets TeddiexRise points :wacky:

MCxNaoto is also cute in the christmas scenes :hmmm:

I was under the impression it was the girls he was blushing at lol.

I got Rise, getting together with Chie next. Hope they do a female remake for 4. I would chase all the guys again, even Adachi :mandi:

I just peg Kanji as bisexual to be honest. He does like girls, and in his awakening scene, it implies he just wants to be accepted as who he is, so I don't think he cares about gender really :hmmm:

I only made Yukiko my GF in P4, but only because I thought that making another girl my GF would somehow screw things up with her S.Link. I kind of wanted to see the MC score with everyone xD

And also, I feel kind of weird for feeling this way, but I was kind of...disappointed with the MC's ending in P4.

Nothing happens to him! He just goes on to live a normal life. The P3 hero more or less dies to save the world, but P4 dude? He's fine >_>

Persona 3 and 4 spoilers

I agree, I thought that was one of the best parts of Persona 3 because it is not a 100% happy ending. I do have to admit it does feel sad knowing the MC will give up his/her life for the fate of humanity as I play through the game again and build up all of the Social LInks. Sure Persona 4's was sad too but you know the MC will go back to Inaba eventually so he's not gone forever. Although I guess if you do keep doing the same thing over and over it will become very predictable so it's not a big deal.

I thought that the True ending of P4 was kind of sad, no where close to P3's, but still sad. He spent a whole year with the others, solved the case, and made friendships that would last. I thought that the ending was great, and full, at the very least.

But P3's was much better, and more in-depth :wacky:

I feel punk'd about the P4 ending especially because before I got it, I saw fanart that lead me to believe the P4 Hero's fate was similar to the P3 Hero's :lew:

I think P4 was a better game to play, and to be honest, I liked the characters a tad more than the P3 ones, but I still think P3's story was better over-all.

Also for P4, am I the only one who didn't know that
Adachi
was the criminal? :ness:

I never put the pieces together! The only reason why I even know it was them was because of process of elimination. I swear there's nothing that suggests it was them until your randomly see their name in the list of possibilities the game gives you Dx

I randomly chose that name myself, but someone spoiled me on the culprit when I was only in early November, and it sort of spoiled the game for me. Then, being unaware there was a true ending, I said my goodbyes to my Social Links and left. After I found out there was one while randomly browsing throught the SMT wiki, I raged, because I was almost spoiled, but stopped in time.

I really liked Mitsuru, obviously. Just because of her ice queen personality and the way she acted like a military commander on back-up. I just loved her cool, commanding character.

Got my game this morning, its been sent from France, so no Junpei hat :( Never mind, thats my day sorted and week off next week XD Just charging up my PSP. Going to grill it tonight. I couldnt choose which game I love most cause both 3 and 4 are top of my all time fav RPGs list, but I guess 3 will rank higher for me then 3 cause it was the first Persona I played in years.

Oh, I love Mitsuru too. A lot of people seem to dislike her for a snobby attitude, but I never found her to be snobby :hmmm:

Privileged, sure, but how's it her fault she got the best of everything? And anyways, you know it's not all happy for her.

Yukari actually grated me a lot. I never maxed the social link with her in P3 and FES because I thought she was such a bitch, especially to Junpei. And yeah, she has her tragedy, but she still annoyed me before that point.

Although to be honest, hanging out with her as a FMC, she's pretty cute xD

Encountered a slip up. My characters female, so I woke up in the hospital after my Persona woke up. Yukari was there and we were talking crap. Then she says something along the lines of "Im going to tell her. As soon as she walks up Im going to tell her everything." Unfortunatly, the audio said "he" instead of "she". I loled.

Oh and Junpei took me for ramen! Not been there 5 minutes and hes already after me!!

I actually just finished P3 the other day; a friend of mine let me borrow his copy of FES. I thought it was a pretty cool game, but, I dunno, it felt pretty grindy to me.

I'm not sure I was a huge fan of how the Tartarus segments were set up. Kind of a "Hey, just be sure to get as far into the tower as you can go before the next full moon. But, you know, no rush or anything. Take your time with it." It was nice, but I always just blasted through Tartarus in the first night or two, leveling up my party until they either got tired or until the experience I was getting wasn't even worth the time, and then I felt like I was just dicking around for the rest of the month waiting for the next boss.

But overall, it was a pretty good game, and I just started into The Answer a little bit the other night, so I think I'm going to go back to it today. Even though it seems like much, much more grinding will be awaiting me in this part of the game.

I'll probably play Persona 4 when I'm done and manage to get my hands on a copy. That one looks pretty neat, too.

I read about that, but I think I skipped the audio since I read text pretty fast, so I didn't notice xD

And from what I've read, Junpei's S.Link remains pretty friendly. To be honest, I'm glad. Since he develops feelings for a certain future character, it felt weird to be dating him just before he has his canon romance :ness:

I have to agree that even I will try to get as high as I can in Tartarus within only a few days. I try to pace myself by stopping whenever you get to the segment bosses, but there's nothing really stopping anyone from going as far as they can as fast as they can :hmmm:

But with all that free time, you have can develop S.Links then, which is something I really enjoyed. Not even for the sake of the gameplay, it's just fun developing relationship with a wide range of characters as part of your own side story to the game's story ^^

Actually, I'm kind of embarrassed about The Answer - I dropped it pretty fast because I honestly got bored of just basically grinding through that part of the game >3>

And Persona 4 is superb. Good luck finding copies though >.<

@Adamant: I have no problem with Engrish lyrics :awesome:

Actually, about that particular theme, I really do love Meguro's work, but to be honest "A Lone Prayer" annoyed me after hearing it so often. I didn't dislike it per se, but I felt extra motive to finish battles as fast as I could >_>

Speaking of Persona 1 PSP themes, I love the map theme:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/y5o2WVxbjU0&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/y5o2WVxbjU0&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
<object height="344" width="425"></object><object height="344" width="425"></object>
I dunno what it is, but holy crap, it's my fave theme in the whole game O_O

And yeah, I'm trying to figure out the lyrics for that song too. Damn it Shouji, just tell us what the feck's being said in your songs! Dx

I did as well. I couldn't really hold an interest to it personally so I just never finished it. So even though everyone complains about it not being in P3P, I really don't care.

From what I've seen Persona 4 seems to be pretty common around here. Actually so is 3 and FES as well.

I think I say this without exaggeration that Persona 4 is the -best- turn based RPG I've ever played. I played Persona on PSP, it was alright. Didn't bother to beat it though. I didn't play Persona 2, though I would've loved fighting Hitler. Persona 3 wasn't as fun as Persona 4 for me. And for some reason, 30 hours in, there was barely any story. I'll definitely get back to it after I'm done with Mass Effect 2.

Okay, so having spent a couple of days playing P3P, I'm finding there are a few things that differ in terms of perspective from the console to hand held.

I'm doing some of Elizabth's/Theodore's requests, including the one where you chase down that Gold Hand shadow. I spent over 3 hours trying to hit the gold shadow today. Never mind the damn thing usually just shows up one time per block, but I'm finding it harder than usual to actually chase it and hit. I think the added weight of the PSP system and the general down cast view you have the game is the problem. 'Cause with the console you hold a rather light controller while staring straight ahead at your screen.

Still love P3P way more than I should for a game that's been released for the 3rd time though xD

I'm planning on doing another playthrough of the Answer soon. No doubt it'll drive me mad. The battle
against Mitsuru and Yukari
in particular was difficult. Nothing like a mind charged Bufudyne for a quick game over.

Yukari annoyed me too, actually. Particularly in the Answer. She was borderline abusive to Aegis and Metis, and the scene after [spoiler[ the fight with her [/spoiler] just showed her spoiled side. Everyone
loved the MC as much as her
yet she's the one who throws a tantrum when everyone else accepted defeat. Even if she improved, I don't like her character all that much.

Anyways:

This theme is win.

There are just so many extras in the game that make the purchase well worth it even if you did buy it for the third time. There is so many that half of the game may as well be considered new. A great investment for only $40 if you ask me.
