I thought Crisis Core's had an amazing version of One Winged Angel...although does it count because its renamed as The World's Enemy?

It's a great song! I have two favorite versions, the AC version already mentioned, and the one from Kingdom Hearts.

Anyway, One Winged Angel is a favorite piece of mine. The AC soundtrack is simply marvelous! I like how there's a bit mix of rock, and the lyrics is just fab.

I'd still be interested to know if the lyrics for the AC version are Latin or some other language. If they are Latin, then I shall be impressed with Nomura, but if not, then I'd still be interested to know what language they are in, and if Nomura did them himself or got help

I've changed my mind a bit since the last thread on it, I'm not that keen on the Black Mage's version of One Winged Angel anymore , Crisis Core's version just seems to have more about it.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you're right about the original lyrics, to be honest I can't remember where I found out about Tetsuya Nomura writing the AC lyrics, I just remember reading it and thinking wtf?

Perhaps if he did write them he had a Latin translator or such. I would have thought Nobuo Uematsu was more likely to have written those lyrics, but it's made me want to research it a bit further.
