Do you have any particular favourites? Oh, does anyone have any theories on what Gogo may be?

i've heard theories that gogo is setzer's friend daryll. i forgot the explanations given, but i think it's worth considering. when in daryll's tomb, i don't remember finding any remains or a grave or anything that would lead me to think she was there. then again, my memory could be failing me.

on to the topic, i found ffVI to be one of the most enjoyable games in the series (along with ffIV and ffVII). i found it interesting that the game never really focused on one single player as the main character, but yet gave enough depth and background to make just about all of the characters worth caring about. kefka was pretty cool too.

I have always felt that VI had the best story line and characters. It is my second favorite after IV. IV may be a head of it because of nostalgic reasons though. VI has a lot of my favorite Final Fantasy characters mainly Terra, Locke, Celes, Saban. VII comes in third.

Its a shame I cant get my friends to play this game because they are graphic whores.

Final Fantasy VI was the first one in the series that I played, and I was immediately hooked. The storyline, the characters, the gameplay as a whole kept me entertained for hours on end. And I played it first around 10 years ago before I really got into the internet, so it was a bit more challenging for me to find everything and equally exciting to find secrets. To compare it to VII, they are about equal. The graphics will always be the argument. FFVI set the bar high so that future Final Fantasy titles would succeed. I have played titles previous to VI(currently playing V), but they don't impress me as much as VI does.

I've heard those rumors too, but I think its rubbish. I've always seen Darylls Tomb as more of a monument to her and a place to keep the Falcon in storage, not an actual place of rest. Afterall, Setzer found the crashed Falcon about a year after her disapearence and dead bodies don't hang around all too long in Final Fantasy ;)

As for Gogo, I just think s/he's a mysterious new character who can mimic. I don't think s/he has any connection to anyother character in the game tho I am quite likeing the theorie that it was actually Gogo on the Phantom Train and not Zeigfried.

I've heard a lot of people say that this is one of the best FF game in the series. So I bought one about two months ago and played for a few hours. Well, I'm not even halfway through the game yet, so I can't really say if it is indeed the best game. But from what I saw so far, the storyline is definitely good. And I really like the characters, especially Celes.

I believe it is 'one' of the best FF titles yes. It is certainly my favourite out of the ones before 7.

Well I've only been able to play a few hours into this game before. ^_^
I think it has really amazing character designs, and a wonderful story.
Not to mention the beautiful music. <3

As far as I know, this is a really great game.

I would say this one, X and IV are the most irreplacable in the series...I wouldn't trade these for any other games...I never got the full umph of VII...I'm considering playing it again to see if it goes over better...but it never captured my love like the 3 aforementioned.

It definitely could be considered one of the best in the series. You get so many characters to play in the game, all from diverse backgrounds. The main villain and the overall story keep you hooked right up until the end credits. Great game, and very memorable.

I'm sorry, but if you haven't got anything to say about FFVI, try not to comment, as I do find it slightly annoying.

I must concur my friend. Final Fantasy VI has nothing to do with VII. Neither is I, II, III, IV, V, VIII, and the above. I see no resemblance to any of these. please try and keep this on topic and no spamming please

Back on topic:
This was my very first Final Fantasy ive EVER played therefor its my favorite.....My "1st" favorite!;)

Might i suggest that this topic be moved to the General Topics Forums

This game became my favorite, mostly due to the wide cast of party members, including playable characters never seen before or since like a yeti, a non-robotic Moogle, and a whatever Gogo is.
I never really got into FF VII. Really, I never saw what was so great about it.
